I have been watching the news for about the past hour on Hurricane Katrina. I am going to encourage all of you who can to do some type of fundraiser. We sent enough money off to other countries when shit happens and you know that they are not going to help us much. I am going to raise money at my school so instead of beating your meat or something you should get out and raise money. No one has anywhere to go and so many billions of dollars is needed. So we should all do something.

yea def gotta do something. personaly...i have freinds that live in the south...one in mobile al. hes ok...i talked to him...and my friend katie lives in columbus miss. and goes to school at loyolla new orleans....and i fianlly got a hold of her today and shes ok....had to spend a night in a red cross shelter...but is ok...and doesnt think school is gonna be opened this semester. but there are alot of people who arnt ok...and i have more friends all over mississippi that i havnt been able to get in touch with. any one got ne ideas on what we can do???

you may not land everything you hit...but one things is for sure....you def dont land 100 percent of the things you never hit...so get out there and hit em up!!!

I'm willing to collect money and clothes to send down if everyone is in. There's a red cross chapter in slc that I can get everything to.

These people lost everything so anything you can spare is a huge help. and if you dont want to send it to me find the red cross chapter thats nearest to you....or a church...im sure they're collecting as well.

find the dude the had the brilliant idea to set up the levy system around new orleans and shoot the idiot. had thos enot have been built new orleans would not be 15 feet below sea level and yeah there would of been flooding but it wouldnt be the huge fucken shit pool it is now. but in the mean time, maybe someone wants to design a shirt. id go with the slogan.

What do you mean "designed the levee"?
The levee is what has kept new orleans out of water for hte past long ass time. Maybe 300 years someone was saying.

The whole city of new orleans was sitting below sea level the whole time. It was inevitable that the city would eventually become flooded.

And why don't we just donate to the red cross or one of the other numerous funds for this situation?

but when katrina fucks us up no one does shit. And now theyre saying our funds are spread so thin partially because of the iraq war which is bullshi t in and opun itself but aslo because of the amount of forgien aid. essentially right now that whole area is a 3rd world country...no food, no drinkable water, and over time disease WILL be rampid. not to mention the whole city of new orleans practically will have to be rebuilt

their is a trust fund set up by someone who lives in new orleans. That way the money goes directly to the people i need unlike the red cross which can send it elsewhere

damn ive been watching it too i wish that i could go down there and do something, cause it seams that nothings gettting done, its sucha shitty situation, and bush is so concered about fucking gas and hell im pissed about paying 3.20 a gallon now as much as any one else but there are poeple down there dying we need to do something, in my opinion people dying is alot more important then gas prices, especially citizens of our country

today our fam collected clothes and stuff we had and ended up with 5 garbage bags and 6 boxes of clothes. a teddy bear dude, and a bag and a couple boxes of shoes

Anyway, a gas station we pass. We got gas, and ran off to get grub.It was a nice little pub in the middle on nowhere. Anywhere woulda been better. I ordered enchiladas and I ate 'em, Ali had the fruit punch.

First offf money isn't wat they need right now, yes they will shortly but right now they need help of personal trained to deall with the disater and they need to get everyone to good health and safe before anything. i think that money needs to be sent in a couple of weeks casue money that is sent now is actually not going there caseu they can't anything in out of the disater area's.

we definitely should give some.if 1/2 of the ns members (30000) gave $5.00 that would be $150,000.00 that is a lot of money and $5.00 is nothing.you can barely eat at taco bell for $5.00. think about how much good that would do and how much people would aprreciate that.if 40000 members gave $10.00 that would be $400,000.00

we could definitely do it.you could probably find $5 under your couch at home
