ok dude you're a fucking idiot, you're 13 and thinking about going pro in baseball, fuck you. I am 300x better than you. Hit a fucking 97 mph fastball then talk about going pro. My friend is 18 and he just got drafted and offered 950,000 for a signing bonus by the Red Sox, but he turned it down for college. Your a fucking idiot and probably suck, do what I am doing, find a good school with a good D1 baseball program, I am playing was West Virginia right now

if he is 13, and talented, by all means let him keep at it and who knows. stop insulting the kid. as for going pro in skiing or baseball, like in skateboarding there are so many kids that are extremely talented, and to even break in to shop sponsorship is a big huge deal now. so many kids are extremely good, and not many make it to pro and sponsored level. but who is to say that this kid is not one of those kids that could make it? they obviously exist.

i got bored halfway through an didnt read every post, but no matter how good anyone says your are at 13, it means pretty much nothing in the long run, I cant see the future so i cant say whatyll happen to you, but as you get older you'll find out just how competitive it is, kids i knew when i was young made it all the way to the final game of the little league world series, and they were told the same great stuff you were, i think 2 of them are playing college ball and are only average players not shoo ins into the majors, Another one of my friends threw 70+ when he was just as young, got a scolarship to college, and was even told all sorts of great stuff by a jays scout... he was cut from the team after a few games in the big leagues and hasnt heard from any scouts since, So yah Im not sayin you cant make it cause again i cant see the future, but the reality is your chances of ever being a star player no matter what anyone says are slim, cause the talent pool is in the millions and includes kids from all over the world, so yah keep playing but keep everything in perspective

ok, no1 is throwing 97 yet..but there is a kid thats throwing 75, and ive gotten pretty damn good at hitting that from 54 feet.so thats about 85 or 90

man when i was 13 I was really good at basketball, mainly because I matured first over other kids my age. Of course the thought of "going pro" crossed my mind but christ when I got to highschool the fact that I couldn't hit a jump shot for shit and i'm not black actually mattered. but hey i hope you prove me wrong.
