First Drop is excited to launch another exciting contest on Newschoolers, which will help you reminisce about summer while getting stoked for the winter: The FD Wear Wants To Know What You Did This Summer...and Winter contest.
FD Wear Wants To Know What You Did This Summer...and Winter is a video-based contest, and will feature two rounds. In Round 1, FD wants anyone and everyone to put together an edit of what you and your friends got up to this summer. It can feature anything you want that's summer-related (skateboarding, mountain biking, water sports, cliff diving, skiing, etc), as long as it's fun, and embodies some good ol' fashioned summertime vibes! Round 1 begins today, and is open for entries for three weeks (until Thursday, December 1st at 9pm PST/Midnight EST), at which point you, the Newschoolers community, will have one week (from Friday, December 2nd – Thursday, December 8th at 9pm PST/Midnight EST) to determine the top 15 via voting for your favorite entries.
Once the top 15 highest rated entries from Round 1 have been decided, they will then be eligible to enter Round 2, where First Drop wants to see your first ski edit of the season with your crew! Round 2 will begin on Friday, December 9th, and will be open for entries for one month (until Monday, January 9th at 9pm PST/Midnight EST) so you have time to get your shred on over the Christmas break! Then once the deadline has passed, members of the FD and Newschoolers staff will get together and check out the videos, pick their favorites, and announce the winners shortly thereafter...and check out the Prizes section below to see what you can win!
