While filming for realski, Tanner Hall faces another injury.

Today we got some bad news about the Ski Boss. Tanner Hall posted to his Instagram today notifying everyone that during the filming of his X Games Realski he tore his Achilles Tendon. According to Tanner, this happened on January 2nd while hitting some street in Minneapolis.

"You win some you lose some and on the 2nd of January this month I was on the losing side of things. Been trying to put together an X Games Realski segment since November and was out in Minneapolis stacking some street clips where on the third feature we hit I ended up tearing my Achilles Tendon." -Tanner Hall

Sometimes controversial, but always loved, Tanner Hall is a legend within the sport with 11 X Games medals. A well-rounded skier, Tanner also skis and films backcountry, park, and street while still competing in competitions like Freeride World Tour.

We at Newschoolers wish Tanner a speedy recovery. Tanner is no stranger to injuries so I am sure he will be back on two skis soon.
