Descendance is pretty thought-provoking, as ski movies go and not in an arty/The Bunch kind of way. If you haven’t seen it it’s about North Face Austrian/Ghanaian skier Dennis Renalter, exploring his heritage (descendance). We spoke to him when he got home in Salzburg, where he moved to six-months-ago from his childhood home of Stubai. Obviously we touch on his differences and challenges, but he was more than happy to talk about skiing too!

Nick Goepper had a pretty successful career as a slopestyle skier. Six X Games medals, three Olympic ones and a couple of World Championship bronzes. He announced his retirement at the start of 2023.
