It is always a sad day when someone in the winter community is hurt. This time it was a snowboarder. My old neighbor in Mammoth broke is L3 vertebrae on day two of the superpark sessions in Mammoth. He is an absolutely amazing snowboarder and was a fantastic neighbor and a fantastic friend. Sadly he didn't have health insurance and his family is being left with the bills.
