Just when you thought you purchased the most bad-ass camera ever, the market hits you over the head with a new model. This new Nikon D5000 looks and reviews pretty well. Released on the market today, the new Nikon D5000 is pushing ahead once again with the d-SLR capabilities of shooting both photos (12.3 mpx) and HD video (720p, not bad). It also uses a large 2.7 inch rotating display viewer that flips inward to protect it from scratches. At MSRP of $729.00 this gem ought to turn some heads. Found via Nikon USA.
