It seems like every season I bend my poles to the point of no return and have to get a new pair. Does anyone know a pair of ski poles around 46" with bigger baskets?
Also wondering how strong bamboo poles are. Does anyone have any experience with them?

Bamboo poles are strong. I used to fuck up a couple metal ones a season before I got my grass sticks. Had em since 2020 now without them breaking. Also they’ve got a great warranty my homie broke his and they sent him new ones.
Eli they dont want you to know this but there's a place at the base area of every mountain that has unlimited free poles for real shredders like us
I really like the zip line poles mostly cause they bruise me less than aluminum when I fall on them. They’re springy and don’t bend permanently. I’ve had mine for six seasons. I don’t seem to be able to break them. You can get different baskets for them.

Thats where I've got my last 2 pairs from.
I have Leki Stealth Poles and they never bend. 2 seasons deep rn
Seconding zipline, my graphite mogul poles from them are the only poles I haven’t snapped. I have snapped their adjustable carbon poles though.

Ive been rocking some atomic benchetler poles for 3-4 years now. I havent had any issues. Plus one pole has a flathead and the other got a philips head screwdriver if you pull them all the way out of the ajustable mechinisim, pretty neat idea.
ZteezegodJust take some small ones from rentals
I second this I've had rental poles for past 2-3 seasons, no sign of them breaking

Bambo is super bendy. Will do a lotta boing boing before they bust. Last a long time.
Aren’t they supposed to bend so they don’t fuck you up if u land on them? I bend a lot of em too, so I never buy expensive ones
No shame in having poles with some funny bends, just bend it back to straight-ish
