last season I dailyed blackops 118s and they are amazing but I really want somthing in the 100-110 range whats the closest thing to the 118s in that width?
BiggieSmallsNZMaybe try the Rossignol Sender Free 110?
thought about it but have heard the air tips keep failing on skis
I always associated Rossignol with dad ski, but these sound kinda sick.
What do they ski like? Where’d you mount them, or anything you love/ or dislike

Recc mount point on the BlackOps is around -3cm from center, it's a burly twin tip that trucks through basically everything while being way more nimble that it should be.
It's a dope ass fuckin ski, I'd still have one but I wanted to put my sth on something else

The sender free 110 is one of the best skis out right now.
100% the Sender Free 110. Second "best" bet (there's a few skis that fit the bill here) would be the MFree 108 mounted -5 from center/+3 from rec. That ski has a pretty big sweet spot for mounts and a similar construction to the BO118. Plus they've been out a few years so you've got a better shot at gettin them used/on sale. I'm a big fan of the MFree.

Mine came mounted dead center, just like Parker and the other Rossi team guys run, wouldn’t change it. The 118s are so confidence inspiring just damp and predictable, absorb everything nothing phases them, really nimble feel for as heavy and wide as they are. Also after you get your legs on the 118s all your other skis will feel like full carbon skimo skis lol

I heard that the air tip delaminates extremely easily. I’ve been considering the 110s and on3p jeffery 108s

Preach. Skied it last year at a demo and was blown away that I was looking down at the Rossignol logo, it's phenomenal
Sender Free 110 is the closest ski out there though they’re not totally the same, M-Free 108 is also a good choice
The jeffs arent as stiff but are every bit as burly. I haven't skied the sender free 110s but I imagine they wouldn't have the same 'burly' feel due to the tips, even if they are quite durable. Also check out the revolt 114

really not worried about stiffness I just want the super damp heavy feel
would the skinnier revolt be about the same? theres some 108ish ones for sale locally
Rossi Sender squad 112mm, mounted at -5,5 from Center enough tail splay to land switch, really damp and pretty surfy but u need the leg power to move it around in the air. Absolutely no speed limit. Also no air tip

sender squads seem harder to find than used blackops 118s, also -5.5 is further back than I usually ride, my blackops are -1 from center. really leaning to jeff 108 but need to sell off a couple skis before I can justify on3ps to myself
it’s just covered up, all the senders have air tip, except the cheap ones.

While anything can happen, i have not seen any delams come through the shop. It’s the same core / airtip as the sender 106 which is solid.

Oh shit my bad just remembered, anyway I have zero durability issues with them. I have around 35-40 days on them and they had plenty Rock contact
