I just bought the Armada ARV 86 as my park skis for next year along with some Marker Squire bindings. The ARV 86 isn’t a fully symmetrical ski, and the recommended mounting points are pretty different across websites and forums. Is it generally a better idea to center mount it since I’ll be skiing lIke 90% park?
-2 will feel best unless you’re an absolute switch god and do over half of all your riding switch
I have 2 friends with center-mounted ARV 96's and they both said that they like them like.
You could do it and be fine, but you’ll be fighting the shape profile a bit.
Personally I’d go back -1 to -2 from true center. It’ll be more in tune with the ski and still ski switch well

Go center to -2 depending on how much rails and switch skiing you will be doing.

I also had center mounted ARV 96's and never felt weird. But I also never had a comparison to -1 or -2
when in doubt, go recommended. that's how the company built the ski to be mounted, and don't worry, armada does not have super far-back rec mount points
between center and rec is a good compromise too though, so the people saying -2 and similar are good calls imo
don't true center them unless you only ski park and are switch like literally all the damn time. it's not a big deal but the cons outweigh the pros in most true center mount cases. you'll know if you really want them dead center
