On some super cold days recently I've started wearing latex gloves underneath my mittens and found it works surprisingly well for keeping my hands warm. Has anyone else ever tried this?
That has to be miserable. It works but why not just wear a pair of thin running gloves?
I'd be worried about sweat and would prob prefer something breathable
Get a better pair of mitts my dude or rock two pair. Hell get a box of handwarmers. Idk, latex gloves under your mitts?
I thought about this how is it taking ur gloves off ?
i cant imagine waiting in line at the base of the hill and u start to warm up, my hands would be swimmin in pools of sweat. at the end of the day my shit would be pruning
nawww latex gloves under mittens is crazy. my hands sweat already with regular old mitts
this is what we when we have to play lacrosse game and its super cold, works pretty well

Hands get a little bit sweaty but not too bad. It seems to just trap the heat in your hands. I just wouldn't recommend it unless it's really cold already.

Yeah that's kinda where I got the idea from.
thats like wearing a condom all day lol gross
Just wear a full rubber gimp suit. Complete warmth
Also used to do this when playing lacrosse. Worked so well but your hands came out smelly and gnarly af

Great way to get a blister… or develop a latex allergy.
I've done this a couple times for late fall yardwork because my gloves had holes in them and it does help. But for skiing? Ew Sweat!
