I can kinda do them but not very consistent or clean and I can never make it through the rest of the rail without falling off.
So what are some tips NS?

lots of practice. Use the front of your ski to switch up instead of the heel like a blind 2. I started on something that had lots of grip specifically a corrugated tube which everyone will think is ridiculous feature to try that on.
My problem learning them was that I always fell off on the left side of the rail (Right foot forward) so I made sure to try and at least fall off the rail on the other side and doing that helped my balance on them a lot better. I see tons of ppl have the same issue. If u notice urself constantly falling off on the same side u know what to do

Wut.
BLandzWut.
When I rotate I use the inside edge on the front foot and sort of dip it like a blind 2 and pop around.....
thanks guys those are all helpful I am trying them right now as we speak
I do backswaps kinda by starting a surface swap and popping up when i’m at switch 50
Definitely do a lot of them
if there no one in the park try on rail without sliding it just stepping on the rail
Once your pretty good at them try looking at the beginning of the rail (or the take off) after the swap, that’s gonna help you lock and cleared the rail and eventually predz out too
Practice 2 ons. The hard part is scissoring it backswaps, or getting them clean. If I ever see a dude do a clean B-swap, hell yeah I know tht dude fucks.

I look at the top of the rail behind me as soon as I land on it. Dk if this is proper but it gets me body ready.
Don't get in the way of someone trying to hit the feature but I used to (still do sometimes lol) just stand on top of a narrow box or flat bar and pedal/do swaps on it to practice
my bad didn't see Rafs comment lol

Biggest thing is looking at the end of the rail after swapping

Do a 180 on the rail.
