Is the heel piece really supposed to be so stiff to the point where it breaks my pole when I try to pop out of them? Then there’s clicking in which takes me nearly jumping into them on one foot. Am I tripping or is there a way to loosen it up?
I had it at 13 then lowered to 11 and didn’t seem to help

Your fwd pressure can still be way off.
Also are your boots interfering with the heelpiece bars at all?

Yeah they do, is that fixable at all?
still hard as hell to flip it back down after I slip the boot out without fully disengaging it

white tab actually has nothing to do with forward pressure on a pivot, yes it needs to sit right but doesn’t correlate to correct forward pressure. from what you’ve said it kinda seems like the actual mechanism that the dildo piece revolves around is seized. in theory it is possible to get in there and lube it up but would be a lot of hassle
puts me at like 7, I used to ride on 8 on aaatack-13s and I wanted to run at least 10 now on the pivots

ive never had a set of properly adjusted pivots line up with the notches. They are horrible for setting forward pressure

How much do you weigh? It could be it's just too high if you're light. I can't really unclip from my pivots with poles and they're only at 10 but I'm a lardass so stepping in isn't an issue.
