Bend 'em before you take em to the shop

how do i bend them
My 95mm brakes (barely) fit on wides without any bending
ButteryStix69how do i bend them1. Take rear binding
2. Pull hanging bits (brakes) apart with your hands
3. Repeat step 2 until the hanging bits clear your sidewalls
4. Might have to repeat step 2 again when the bindings are mounted
Did u do any bending ?
Coleg55Yup got 95s on both the wides and Jeff’s

Yeah looks like the shop who mounted them did.
You barely need to bend 95's for wides btw, narrower the better
Your brakes are gonna rattle and not retract properly if you do it with them in the down position. Since they're not mounted and you can't really get a boot in there, I suggest you get a clamp to push the brakes into the closed position before bending. That or use a vice and vice grip to locally bend the part you want, cause you don't wanna put stress on the part under the heel.
Pretty sure this is why pivot brakes catch so often when skiing switch.
