Mostly correct! Today's name for the this binding is the Look SPX.
Look started making the PX series bindings after the failure of the P series from the early '00s, which were basically crappier Pivots that broke all the time. The PXs were a similar dildo heel to the Ps with a more traditional track and forward pressure mechanism. That setup is still the base for Look's race bindings, but I thought they sucked. They were cheap, and I kept buying them because I was poor, but there was a span of time where I could just count on my bindings breaking catastrophically at least once per season.
