I have some 2022 k2 mindbender 130s (yellow ones) that I got last year. They have around 100 or so days (probably 80 resort and 20 touring) on them (with the stock powerfitpro tour liners) and I'm noticing that my heel is moving around a little bit in my right boot despite me basically maxing out the top two buckles. By moving around I mean lifting up, my left boot is fine and the fit is excellent. How many days does it take to pack out liners? I have a bootfitting appointment but it's not until the end of February, I'm just wondering whether this is more of a problem with my foot or the liners starting to pack out...
By 100 days you are going to have taken quite a bit of life out of a liner especially if you are skiing hard.
But the fact that one of your feet is still locked in well and only one is moving around I would guess that there is a fit issue going on too. If it were purely liners packing out you would expect the same kind of movement on both feet.
It’s hard to say what the cause could be without seeing your foot in the shell though unfortunately. If there is anyway to get in to see a fitter sooner that really will be your best bet.

Thank you! How many days can you expect to get out of stock K2 liners? I have been looking around but can't seem to find a recent answer

Honestly that is so hard to answer. It will depend on many factors such as how hard you ski, how tight you have the boots, how much movement you have in the boot etc. But we would probably expect anything from about 100-150 days for most users. Most would be closer to the high end and some will far exceed 150 days.

Zero. They suck.
I packed out tecnica mach1 liners in like 120 days. Got new ones and it felt like a new boot. Had to switch to even thinner socks was so tight.
I got intuitions this year but I cant wear them with anything but the thinnest socks I own because they fit my foot so tightly. I have around 20 days on em and the outsides of my feet hurt if I have slightly thicker socks on
If you're trying to squeeze an extra 50 days out of them, these might resolve your heel lift issue:

Touring destroys liners. I’d imagine an hour of touring is 2-3x more wear than an hour of riding resort. Highly recommend getting two liners and using one for inbounds and one for touring, I recently added zip fits to my xt3s and am keeping the kinda packed out stock liners for touring
it took me heat molding my power wraps 3 times before they fit the way i wanted them to. just buckling down tightly to make room didnt work, I had to tape cotton balls to the pressure points to pack them out enough so that they didnt hurt my foot when I was skiing in them. Now they fit like a glove. the process was painful, time consuming, and i wasnt sure it would ever work out the way I was hoping, but after about 10 days on skis and 3 heat molds, they finally work the way I want them to

That is a good point I didn’t really consider that
slip in a "downsizer shim sole thing" and try?

I tried these for the hell of it and honestly they are quite awesome. I’m concerned they may blow out sooner rather than later but other than that I can recommend these.
Filled out a zipfit form and am waiting to hear back, probably gonna get some and keep my current liners for touring
I have found these will wear out faster if you take your liners out after every day - which is unfortunate because that is a good habit to do. But so far I have 30+ days in these and am still benefitting from the heel hold.

I just got back from skiing the garas I got for the first time, I didn't do a great mold job because I was in a hurry and it hurt my feet a bit but they broke in in a day or two. they seriously stiffened up my xt3s and im liking them so far. booting up is kinda a pain with them but im sure ill get better at it, I can leave them in the shell but its still a pain
Even Intuition says their liners are good for about 100 days.
Sick, I'm thinking the gara lv's will probably be what I end up with. At first I was hesitant because of how you have to out the liner on before the shell but it seems like it adds a bit of performance (like you said)

ZipFits are on another level. Easy 5/5. Well worth the money. You still need a properly fitting shell tho.
Pretty confident about the shell, went to a reputable bootfitting shop and had them fit. Good to hear it though, they seem expensive but if they last 3+ tkmes as long as normal liners it makes sense that they cost 3 times as much

Yeah booting up racer style is kinda annoying but seems worth it so far. If you boot up in the parking lot practice booting up a few times at home, maybe get a chair to sit on and a door mat to stand on. Also make sure you get the shells and liners as warm as possible with your cars heater or a heated boot bag.
I've got these https://www.sidas.com/en/boot-shoe-accessories/306-drywarmer-pro-usb-3661267109362.html and this https://www.camptime.com/products/standard-roll-a-stool
for the Zipfit shenaniganry at the parking lot.

I would imagine taking out would allow the liners to expand/ return to form?

The primary reason to take your liners out after each ski day (especially if you’re doing back to back days) is to allow the liners to fully dry. This keeps the liners from getting moldy, rank, and can help with foam integrity overtime. Also, if you get into wet liners on a cold day, your feet are going to freeze! Definitely a bit of a hassle, and I don’t do it every time, but am usually glad I did.
I have no choice due to foot issues I can only put on liners and then stuff them in the boot

Where did you find those? I even wrote tecnica and when they finally got back to me, they suggested some generic shop that didn’t have them. Granted, I was in Europe at the time but Tecnica IS European.

This was way harder to find than I remembered. Only reason I found it is because I know it exists...they have a ton of parts on there. I have the 2019 boot, and I think this liner is for a slightly updated boot. My boot was sloppy, buckles maxed out, wearing thicker socks by day ~100 (was perfect until about day 80 maybe). When I put these in there I had to switch to the thinnest socks possible and literally it was fucking miserable skiing for more than 2 hours...had to use my touring boots after that. By like day 5 though it was a perfect fit and now I can rip again with no movement whatsoever and no pain. The spoilers are also bomb.
Should add, the pain was all in my instep. Brutal. Now its gone and it rules
