Yo, so last year I built a pow surf board and I just used some birch plywood, kindof prototyping a shape before I invest in hood supplies to build one forreal, well the time has come and I’m going to attempt to build a new board out of 5 mm Baltic birch with a ptex base. So my question to y’all is for the layers on the board should I use epoxy or wood glue? I used wood glue on the original board and I’ve been experiencing some delam and loosing some of the shape in the rocker profile, would epoxy be better? And if so what kind? Thanks y’all.

There’s one ski building supply website that has wide enough ptex, I forget the name off the top of my head though, all I need to do is epoxy the rough side of the ptex onto the wood correct?

If you want cheap then Bondo fiberglass resin has never done me dirty for boat repairs. You can also add a solvent to a thicker epoxy to thin it and make it easier to spread.
