Tanner Hall has one of the most amazing work ethics of anyone I've heard of. Seeing his progress on injury recovery and his stoke on each step of the way completed is very inspiring and his effort will come to mind any time I think about training for skiing. His attitude should be extended to many parts of life that don't have anything to do with skiing, too. Thanks for being you, Tanner!
I watch triumph sometimes when I need motivation:
I'm getting older....but I'm getting better, I don't give a fuck what anyone says, I aint going nowhere!
asparagusAnd good motivation to avoid alcohol
I disagree.
“look mom if I smoke this joint and pound these 9 beers that means I can be like ski boss and do a triple backie!!!”
I have potassium deficiency, the motivation i need to eat my 20th banana for the day comes from all his ig rant videos

I do agree with this. All his bullshit aside, he always comes back hungrier. Refuses to let age slow him down. He used to ride Squaw when I lived in Tahoe. Always mad hyped watching him from the lift on the jumps below and stuff. This is when he was just getting back into park.
I actually met him my 2nd or 3rd day living in Tahoe. Dude sat down next to me at a bar and I was like “holy shit its tanner hall” and it dawned on me in that moment how much shit I had bought because of tanner growing up. He was very nice.
He seems to be more at peace now that he doesn’t drink and he moved to Kalispell.
I've also met him at Squaw and at Camp of Champions. Tanner is so much chiller in person than he's made out to be. And this was 15 years ago. Man, meeting him and CRJ at the tiny health food store in Truckee when I was in high school brings back some memories.

Yes he is much chiller. I bet that was wild. I can’t imagine the awe I would have felt. I met him at Moodys in Truckee

Honestly there is not enough respect for tanner hall in this thread kinda sad
percsHonestly there is not enough respect for tanner hall in this thread kinda sad
That's currently due to NS members being a bunch of Vishnu and swerve fan bois. Look how many pro's stopped skiing aggressively before 30, then compare them to Tanner who's still sending and not making much money either.
i loved when he mentioned in the bombhole that he’ll be looking for rails to ski street on even when he’s 60
His BombHole episode was eye-opening and hugely inspiring when he talked about his struggle with sobriety and mental health issues. Huge talking points that never ever get addressed in ski communities, the industry, mountain towns, social circles involved with skiing, etc. Took balls to talk about that kind of stuff. Respect to him. There a lot of people out there who could have been in SkiBoss' position in life had their demons not get the best of him, so seeing him go through all the things he has and still be an icon in the sport day-to-day is just incredible.
