Recently toured around the campus at csu because my buddy is considering going to school there and I couldn’t help but notice, that the whole athletic area of the campus is filled with these open long ass rails and most of them have perfect run ups with plenty of room for a bungee. I’m wondering if anybody has hit these before or anything.
Oh did u think I meant the rail on the right? Silly you.
you’re gonna be skiing like once a week max if you’re going to CSU
Jemsyou’re gonna be skiing like once a week max if you’re going to CSU
False
WoFlowzThis c rail looks sick
@skierman be like: oh look another low consequence urban rail

I'm about to graduate from CSU and I have just over 60 days on the season so far...just gotta drive a little further to get out there!
Also yes, Fort Collins in general has a ton of Urban Spots that people didn't start hitting until this past year. Great ski community up here and I have tons of pictures of street spots!

I’m from CO and can confirm that you can ski 60 days if you’d like. However, you’re like 2 hours from summit county minimum with zero traffic. And 1:45 from eldora. I go to the U and that’s wayyyyyy better. 45 or less to any resort. CSU is not a skiers school, even if it is possible to get days in. If anything, CU is the move if you want to be close to skiing. But I promise you won’t be able to just ski before class at CSU like you could in Utah

Yep! Nothing huge like salt lake or Denver but it's there. I'm moving because of a job but my friends that are staying in foco have a winch and bungees. A couple other groups out here have bungees too.

Just because it's further doesn't mean it's not a skiers school. There's a huge ski community here and I have friends getting close to 80 days. Just have to want it! I won't deny that Boulder is closer but foco is sweet. Bonus points if you're into backcountry because of Cameron Pass

Cameron pass the most slept on back country in Colorado and is just an hour away. Focos ski community is large and in charge

every school will have people who like to ski. doesn’t make it a “skiers school” just because it’s possible to ski. i’m by no means ripping on csu, just trying to tell OP that it doesn’t have the ski scene you’ll find at Utah or CU
Foco is the worst place in the world and no one should ever move there. Go to Denver or Boulder you’ll like it way better. Also Cameron pass sucks and you should never ever ski there.
tell all your friends to stay away

cu's not really a ski school either. the only resort close is eldora which is tiny and if you want to go to a actual ski resort its still and hour 30 or more cus of i70 traffic
CatdickBojanglesAny coffee tables?
Ski club does pre season showing of zootspace. In the hours that follow, 8 otherwise healthy coffee tables lose their lives or at the very least their mobility.

dropping out and skiing 160 days a season > graduating and skiing 60 days a season
