Has anybody toured on these? I am contemplating turning these into a touring setup for western Canada. Specifically short day tours and slackcountry.
havent toured but Ive skied them. Theyre pretty nice. Definitely not the strongest ski if youre someone who needs to bust through heavier snow, but that goes with the territory.
Not sure if you weren’t on the right length but these things are absolute punishers. The 192 is my daily driver, from the park, to the rest of the mtn & touring. Sure they aren’t the lightest skis but anything worth going down on will not be light. I hate being the guy to push the one ski quiver but this is mine.

Actually I think I was mixing this up with the M-tour perhaps..? I dont really remember, as it was the season before last when I was testing Dynastars out. I do know they didnt have my size in anything as anything over 180 is seen as pretty damn scary in the Japanese market where a lot of customers still love to go way too short. I was trying out whatever they had over 180 and they might not have had a 192 in anything - which would be my normal go-to size especially in a twin tip. The only time I shorten up is for my spring touring skis which are a 183, and my powder skis which are so burly that they didn't actually make them in a size bigger than 185.
