I've done it into a pool when I was 11 why not on to ice
How are the landings in there? If its soft enough then go for it, worst that could happen is you snap your neck and are paralyzed for the rest of your life, getting liquid food pumped directly into your stomach because you can't swallow and becoming more and more of a financial/ mental burden on your family and loved ones until ultimately you decide to pull the plug and end it all. But if you stomp the flip it'll look sick

Geez that's very true. If the landing is soft I'll go for it but if it's even debatable whether or not the landing is "soft" there's no chance I'm going for it after hearing that. Thanks for the reality check man.

Friends will come and go, but front flips are forever. Should've gone anyway OP.

For frontflips just find a small-medium jump and huck as hard as you possibly can. Hold nothing back. If you do that you will at least land on ur back.
If you break neck its chill tho man you wont have to wait for the fam i’ll drive down there and pull the plug for you so you wont have to live with the embarrassment of being a let down to everybody.

Ditch the poles when you're learning them, too easy to take one to the face and break your nose or eye socket or something when you land. Ask me how I know.

Lmao. I was gonna say the worst that could happen would be you land on your neck and either tear a vertebral artery and die within minutes or you get an internal decapitation and walk around for a bit not realizing it but feeling a bit weird until you suddenly move the wrong way and instantly collapse and die. But really little1337 example is probably way worse. Being a quadriplegic imo has to be worse than dying. Idk how people go on like that.
if you wait to go with your ‘friends’ you will never be a skier. go by yourself and get comfortable with being alone
When I teach skiing I never use poles. Even now I rarely use them.
I want to focus on correct posture, avoid backseat skiing, Parallel turns and stops and not focus on One more thing to confuse people.
There is a berm, rail, rainbow, 2 boxes, 2 small jumps there. Nothing too big.
You should just go to big snow, despite big snow/ burtons advertising of the place pretending that skiing doesn’t exist, this place has a decent park Ski scene.

Long as your riding some nice moist skis they’ll absorb all the energy upon impact and you’ll ride away fine, now send it !
our indoor resort is not the place you wanna try stuff out, landings are not exactly slush, on the biggest jump it seems to be pure ice landing most of the time.
UPDATE: i went today landing was soft and decided to throw a backflip on the last run. My friends phone died so I don’t have a vid but I was about halfway and bailed for some reason. I did meet the nelk boys tho so decent day

This. I ski alone about half the time because I don't have many friends and they bail on me all the time, which used to make me depressed af all the time. Then i realized that whats was making me depressed was not skiing. So i started going anyway without people and got so much better just cus I was going whenever I wanted, got to ski whatever I wanted, and I get to ski way more. Obviously skiing with other people is more fun, but never let being alone hold you back!
SavageBiffgonna have a good season it seems
too soon?

Damn dude i support the send but if you can't even do them on tramp, you probably shouldn't be trying on skis on ice. This is how you're gonna get super hurt. For front flips, you should really focus on the pop. I like to mainly pop off one ski as they're shuffled. The next part is where you really want to be comfortable doing fronts on a tramp or otherwise. After your pop, you tuck and huck your body around, but when you feel the right part of the rotation (air awareness) you should extend your legs and land, likely on your tails on a jump this small. Still, you should be hitting the snow with your skis first, not your back. I don't want to see a yung sendr like you get injured
