Doesn't apply to me since I ride IKON and definitely not a refund, but not a bad move either https://www.summitdaily.com/news/vail-resorts-provides-credit-to-2019-20-season-pass-holders-for-lost-days-due-to-covid-19/

all the snow melted by me at the exact time we went on lock down, so the season was over anyway.
Only silver lining about vail being a large corporation is that we can watch it squirm when a handful of people sue them.
I'll happily take 20% since I got 30+ days in at Whistler.
But for those who got only 5 days on a pass, do I have this right?
5x 180cad (avg-ish lift ticket at whistler) = 900cad
When you would have paid $1200cad for a epic pass
20% off is only $240
So you still ended up paying more than retail for the 5 days skiing?

I think people should be happy they got anything, analyzing it just makes one look more greedy. I think the main point was to give money back to people who didnt use it, but not leave out people who only ski a couple days. Again, i think vail really puss'd out here giving people money, but they gotta keep their stocks up so 🤷♂️

Just seems like a strange # of days to let the 20% begin based on that math

Yeah im sure its based on something, vail keeps things pretty tight.

Wow brag about it.
mvfWow brag about it.
yeah I mean it was actually 39 but felt saying 40 just wouldn't be true
If you skied more than 5 days the refund is 20%. Vail resorts will just raise the price of next seasons pass by 20% (or more) thereby negating the discount. Great PR move tho.
Thats pretty decent thing for vail to do. Next they should start paying their employees a 15$ minimum wage so they dont have to either live like bums or sell drugs.
