i have to think really hard before I go to bed that “I will have a lucid dream” and in my dream I will recognize that I am in fact dreaming, but as soon as I go to do whatever I want it just falls apart and I don’t remember anything after. Anyone good at this?
wake up around 5am, stay awake for like 15 mins, go pee, drink some water then go back to bed.
There's some herbs that are used for lucid dreaming i think there's African dream herb and zacatchichi and some others but there should be a tgread, maybe thus one were people can write down their dreams when they first wake up. I wrote down 2 in post what's on your mind a couple months ago and one was pretty tippy one I think I ordered clam chowder and 8 hrs later it still wasn't seved and got in an argument with the waiter then it got pretty strange
I went through a phase a few years ago where every night I'd dream I was skiing. Not an uncommon dream I'm sure.
However in said dreams, my skiing ability was fucking amazing, infinitely better than my ability in real life. So it actually got to the point where I'd realise mid-dream, say after throwing a cork 7 or something, that I can't fucking do these tricks, so I must be dreaming. Sadly i'd then wake myself up, but it would've been sick if I could have stayed in those dreams!!

I only had one lucid skiing dream and my rail game was FIRE. So much fun.
Then I woke up and my rail game was shitty again
Every time i “wake up” inside a lucid dream and realize i can do whatever i want, i immediately go to have sex with natalie portman.

I make my lucid dream self go to bed
I've always been able to slightly lucid dream and got really into it a few years ago to see "how far I could go"
Keep a journal next to your bed (I just used the notes app on my phone) and as soon as you wake up, write down every single thing you can remember from the dream. Even if you cant remember anything take a guess, or write down a sound or color, or feeling or whatever immediately comes to mind.
After like a week of this your dreams will become SUPER vivid and if you keep it up for a longer amount of time it becomes really easy to control what's going on.
Sounds crazy but it 100% worked for me.
Stay perfectly still for an hour and trick your body into sleep paralysis
Just do crack and PCP, then do whatever you want in real life. Should yield pretty similar results.
Smoke Damiana before you go to bed, just don't confuse reality with dreams. This shit legit helps a lot if you're serious about lucid dreaming.

I read awhile back if you eat a bunch of morel mushrooms and drink red wine you have weird dreams
Different tricks people do. I used to a lot as a kid without trying to but I was a deep dleeper. And things waking me uo wouldn't fully wake me up. Didnt know what lucid dreaming but used to think of it as dreams I controlled.
Idk there's a bunch if stuff writeen on it. If you're interested send it down the rabbit hole. I haven't much at all recently but don't really care
1. Dream journal as soon as you wake up
2. Take ZMA + melatonin
3. Tell yourself you will lucid dream before sleep
4. you need to develop your own way to realise you’re dreaming. I normally look at my hands and they’ll be fucked up or I’ll realise the situation I’m in is totally absurd and become conscious of my dream.
5. A technique I also use is sleeping on my back, which always make me have sleep paralysis but if I fight it hard enough it ends up going into astral projection or a lucid dream.

i experience this same thing almost every night but with women instead of ski tricks

Damiana leaf is actually pretty legit to mix in a bowl of cannabis. If you put some on top it stays lit better so you dont have to use your lighter every time. It is relaxing as well.

Yeah its actually a good alternative to using spliff if you're trying to conserve kush for sure
One summer back in high school I got pretty good at this. I pretty much just did what you did. I would tell myself that I would lucid dream and focus on that before going to bed, and I would write in a dream journal every morning when I would wake up. I don’t have much time to write in a dream journal every morning anyone, but maybe you can find time to do that. Something very important is that when you realize that you are lucid dreaming you want to stay calm and not get overly excited; otherwise, your lucid state will fall apart or you will wake up.
On a side note. While in a lucid dream my friend was meditating on the end of a dock, and he decided that he wanted to try killing himself within the lucid dream to see what would happen. He decided to fall backwards off of the dock and drown himself. After drowning he found himself in an empty void getting whipped around by some unknown force. Apparently he couldn’t wake himself up no mater how hard he tried so he was just stuck there getting whipped around in the void for an extended period of time. Scary stuff. I can’t remember how he got out of it, but I believe it took something irl to wake him up.
