Would a normal edge tunimg be too sharp/catchy for takeoffs and landings?
If you’re going to hit rails or boxes at all you should definitely put a detune on your edges so they don’t catch when you slide features.

I dont hit boxes anymore bc of how shitty they are to your rails if the catch, and i rarely do rails these days bc i want my skis to last.
i was mainly asking for what the best tune would be if your hitting only jumps.
90* and then detune is what I've always done
Another question- on a slightly rockered ski like the arv 106, is it good to detune the edge above the tips rocker (from the inflection point to the tip) and below the tails rocker (from the imflection point to the tail)?
by inflection point i mean where the ski goes from camber to rocker.
