All about a strong set.
Use your legs and bring your skis to your hands, not the other way around. Set the spin with your core not arms and shoulders
I have the same sort of problem, and from what I've tried it's easier to do grabs if I carve into the takeoff.
When carving into spins, your skis are already closer to your hands so it's easier to reach for the grab.
Other than that just experiment with stuff and get the feel for it.
Take videos so you can see exactly how what you do in the air and on the takeoff translates to how you look overall.
Watch some clips of other people doing them to see what they do and compare that to what you're doing
It's not an easy trick and it'll take time to get down, but a nice clean tweaked out 3 is one of the best looking tricks in the game.

Being able to do this makes learning other tricks with good grabs way easier
Make it a part of your style. Be the guy who can throw anything, but you just don't grab.

The skis are already attached to our feet, there is no need to grab since the skis stay on!
