All I want is a set of high end goggles that have a clear lens and a dark lens for day. I'm not picky on the brand or what the day time lens is. I know I could just order a set of goggles and get a clear replacement lens but I am really try to avoid that as most interchangeable goggles come already with a second lens. Do I have any options?
oakley
i have the lineminer, bought just the frame with prizm lense and then separately got a clear one at the same time
My smith IOX came with a dark daytime lense and a very faint orange/red lense for the cloudier/ night time skiing. If your head is small I would recommend going to try them on, or wear them around your helmet. My head is a little too small for them lol.
Oakley Lineminer hands down

I really like my dragon nfx2. the lens comes out really easily with levers on the sides so on days when the light changes a lot I take both my lenses with me. The dark light one isnt clear but it helps with seeing the mountain a lot.
I got a pair of Smith Squads with the chromapop lenses. Really like em so far. Got a red semi-mirror lens and a yellow lens, retail new is around $100 so it wont break the bank. Pretty easy to interchange lenses but not effortless.

I've been skiing with squads for the last 3 years now and I have no complaints, very simplistic design, usually comes with a light and dark lens, and more than worth the $100 pallor price tag

I have the Squad XLs and switched from Oakleys (mainly for the price) and I don't have a single complaint. Last years have been on sale on evo for like $70 with 2 lens. I picked up clear lens on amazon for $20. Its usually cheaper to buy a new pair that comes with 2 lens than to buy new lens by itself.
I'm using the Smith I/O Mag and loveeee them. takes about 2.3 seconds to swap lenses and you get Snith's unbeatable optical quality. they fit super nice into any of their helmets, and you can order any of their extra lenses for not much $$
