Personally I think they do but there’s an astounding amount of people that believe otherwise.

yea. you have to flex the ski by hand a few times to activate the rocker. To do so, hold the ski at the tip with the ski at a 45 degree angle (this is important, must be 45. anything less and it wont activate. any more and it will break) and then hold where the boot center is and flex the ski until you start to hear the fiberglass resin make a few crackle noises. Push through another 2 inches and release. Do this 3 times and you'll be all set.
ive had some pairs where its really noticeable and some where its less so, i think it really depends on the ingredience that go into the ski
Skis lose their pop and become damp the more you ski the quicker this happens
. Id be interested to know if full carbon skis do the same as wood core skis

Nah your doing it wrong

The old Solomon 1080s and Pocket Rockets were foam core and after a few seasons the foam would break down and they would become noodles.

when i used to ski on 4frnts they would start as a full camber ski and by the end of the season they would be mad rockered

Have some and still ski them. I love them for carving hero snow!
