Find a nice quarter pipe and start trying. They aren't super difficult, took ten tries or so to get a decent one. Then I landed ski to shin and decided that was enough for my lifetime.

does it need to be a legit quarter pipe? There's a little, like, eighth pipe that I've been trying on but I'm not sure if I need more speed or it's just not vertical enough.
It's usually more of an invert than anything. You don't put much weight on your hand or pause on it, rather get upside down, touch the hand for a moment and bring your feet back under you in one fluid motion. You need enough speed that if you weren't planting your hand, you'd air out of the feature, and pop off the wall so you can get back in your transition. Should be do-able on the feature you illustrated, and might be easier if you start by landing in the side slope on the end of the feature, so you don't have to worry as much about landing on the deck. I learned on a natural wind lip, so if it proves problematic in your park, you could try to find a more conducive spot somewhere that a wind lip would form.

Handplants are way easier than they look. They take a few tries to get use to, but after you get them they are pretty easy.
Just find a nice slushy quarter pipe and bang out a bunch of attempts. If you fuck up, you’re usually fine cause you’ll just slide down on your stomach.
If you can flair in a quarter pipe, that’s a good start but you honestly don’t need to be able to. Just pretend you’re gonna do a low flair and catch yourself with your hand.
I find that I need a complete 90 degree invert to even get close to a hand plant. I always end up just flying past the lip, can’t figure out how to do it on anything that isn’t truly inverted
Stop planting.
How? Just stop. Burn those plants down.
Where? Everywhere under the sun.

Honestly had no idea what the fuck you were asking.
Handplants are easier with legit vert. Also easier on 1/4 that you come more straight into vs. side. The downhill momentum on the the side ones makes it more difficult and or scares people from trying sometimes. A nice 18 ish one coming straight in the vert throws your legs over your head so easy. Don't even have to work for it.
