How has there been no thread on this, dude should be rekt, but instead skis off, comes back the next night and wins his small finals run. Absolutely crazy hara could ski at all after this, what a beast
The perfect example of “when in trouble tuck for double”.
The most incredible thing about this is that he kept his composure after buckling on the jump. Really shows you how important T sets are. Absolutely mind blowing, dude is a fucking G.
My mans landed topside on a mogul though, I guess he just let his legs go limp and let his momentum flip him, but I still feel like he should have at least broken his ankles.

Here’s a better angle
(First time posting a video from my camera roll, hopefully this works...)
I wish I could see the top part of his run, I’m assuming he was going way too fast and he couldn’t absorb the jump quick enough, I’ve never seen somebody get thrown like that and not panic, years of training paying off right there. Definitely shouldn’t have knees after that.
Wow! At the first angle I thought he just popped super hard (look at that height). The the second angle shows that he didn’t pop at all and tried to absorb it. Insane speed there.
So wild! I've heard it said a few hundred times but have never seen someone actually tuck for dub.
Hara has stood out for few years, nice grabs in comps to put some sauce on the mogul 7s. But he leveled up right here! Glad the course was pretty soft and he was able to ski another lap to take 3rd.
