Yeah I hate it when people go the speed they want and have fun. If they are not going mach 5 they are total loserz
OP is correct:
Any pow day, people come out in droves to battle shitty road conditions, traffic, crowds, lineups, hyped up bros, packed lodges, etc..
All for some butt wiggle turns on a blue run that consume more of the powder than big turns. Share the powder, turn less!
And then I'm not complaining about this, but in the afternoon, they leave lots of left-over stashes in plain sight just to ski the chop in the middle of the run.
Why bother coming out if you aren't hunting for pow? Why not come out when it is less busy?

PoW has gotta be off piste - you’re just pretending you’re in powder if you’re on a piste.
Leaning back is the key to good skiing all over the mountain. Gotta keep your weight firmly on your heels for sure. Drive like Hightower from Police Academy.

fools make it harder than it needs to be, if their is light snow around skiing should light and the speed comes easy if you let it. If their is that much snow on the ground you can stop on a dime, so going mach 5 is a must.

Pretty much this. Not to sound harsh but if you are complaining about Jerries poking down a normally groomed blue run then you dont know real pow. The best pow days are the ones where its 6 deg. out, puking snow sideways with a 30mph cross wind and zero visibility. Its those silent chairlift rides where you and your buddy just have your heads down and try to keep your core warm while the snow builds up in your lap on the sketchy backside double that might close at any moment due to wind. Its the scary "Fuck man, we are either going to find those trees or end up on that cliff band.." days where the sky and slope melt into a blanket of white. Once you get into the trees though its pillow after pillow and your own tracks disappear by the time you take another lap. There is no silence so complete as being one of the only souls on the whole mountain just standing alone deep in the forest up to your knees in fresh powder. That is REAL pow.

Are you semi-illiterate? This is one of the most unintelligible posts ever written on this site.

Yes, we definitely need even more skiers to ski in the back seat and think they are actually good skiers because they can't make a turn but go fast. This is exactly what we need.

Riding 100 underfoot, their is no way to ski deep pow without being in the back seat. u can still make good turns in soft snow while leaning on your tails.

You need a skiing lesson, otherwise I fear you may blow your knee out at some point with your backseat skiing.
Go watch Blizzard of AAHHHs.

What do you mean backseat can lead to a blown out knee? I'm actually curious as I'm having a hard time picturing why that would be the case. I'm a noob.

I was just thinking this, when people say they "can't ski powder cause their 95s are too skinny" I just show them Glen Plake ripping shit they wouldn't dream of on like 75s. Skinny skis = more faceshots
