My local ski hill is currently making snow, theyve been posting on insta and it seems there is already a decent amount, but it's not gonna be open soon. I wanna go shred it dis weekend, what might happen if I get caught? Do the maintenance crew work during weekends?

there's no such thing as a weekend in a ski resort you dumbfuck
Do it. Worst case scenario they will just ask you to leave.

Not the worst case scenario but most likely, I agree do it
they just made an announcement that they r gonna open just right now
mattm7Not the worst case scenario
I got the cops called on me once but thats because I kept hitting the feature after being told to leave. When the worker made the call I just straight lined down the hill and drove off as fast as possible. Good times.
Poaching is sick and all but if your a true local you should respect your hill and just stay off it until they open.
I would recommend you just tour around it a bit. Maybe theres some side country you could get to
Is there a gondola at your resort that you could take up? Then just go out of bounds and your free to do whatever

If you do go, just stay out of the workers way.
They probably don't really give a shit but they kinda have to come talk to you, if they see you rippin down a run that's blowing snow
Make sure u obstruct them and run over as many snowmaking hoses as possible
Yes they work weekends. And nights. As a snowmaker I couldn't care less if you wanna shred the whales. However it's my responsibility to tell you to stop. It actually makes me happy to see people ski our snow with early stoke. If you do go just don't be disrespectful, if they ask you to stop say sorry and come back if they shut down haha. And don't run over any snow hoses or electrical cords. For your own safety.
Unless they've groomed down the piles it's hardly worth the effort. Unless you bring your skates.

snow whales can be sticky or icy as hell but when they slide well they can be super fun. whipping down them and finding sick trannies
one of my favorite memories from the old days of terrain parks was hitting a stratton park that was just a bunch of snow whales that they let people ski and cut lips and trannies into all over the place. so fun finding weird cool lines in that kind of stuff
