I'm looking at a pair of RMU rippahs. Gimme the deets. I'm 5'10", 160lbs and destroyed the edges on my da'nollies. Hows the durability, how buttery are they, weight, are they going to snap, does anyone know how good they actually are or know someone who owns a pair?
I don’t know much about RMU but looking at the RIPPAHS In a shop once they’re a pretty medium weight. I don’t think you’ll snap them but there are more durable brands out there. The sidecut is pretty sick it basically can handle a bit of everything. Sorry for the overall lack of knowledge on this one. Get you some Vishnu wides. Durable. Multi-faceted, buttery but can still hold speed. Hope this kinda helped.
RMU used to have a shady reputation. they are a small boutique bran so that is to be expected.
Moment is building RMU skis now. I've never owned anything from RMU but I've never had a problem with any Moment ski's durability. TBH, I don't even know anyone who has RMU's so I don't know if they're good or bad... if I were in your shoes, I'd go for something else over a wildcard pickup.

I'd go for the wildcard, if you can score a deal. I've only ever heard good things about RMU but sample size is very limited.

While this is true, we're only producing a few select models for RMU this season, and the Rippah is not one of them.
