So suppose you could somehow get the money and go on a gap year skiing for a year. Where would you go? I would def need a job to support myself (but suppose you had a decent amount saved up), but also want to ski allot (like maybe 4-5 days a week). Any thoughts. Revelstoke and Jackson are kinda the big 2 im thinking about.
thats what i wanna do. im thinking if I just worked really hard all of the off season then I could afford to buy a epic pass and ride the whole winter
Come to Jackson, you'll find work and live in your car
Jackson isn't the cheapest place to live. Then again most big ski towns are pretty unaffordable.
Restaurant/bar life could be a good option. Can work nights and ski in the day. Also can be easier to get part time work.
Buddy of mine did a gap year working as trail crew at crested butte looked sick and seemed to work out really well for him
There’s a few workaway programs at ski resorts down in South America you could do for this summer and then just come back to the states or Canada and work here during the winter/spring
