I rip the JJs most of the time but they are so unstable in the tail that hitting cliffs can get super hairy. Any suggestions?
I used to rip the JJ’s loved them to death except for straight lining out of cliffs. If you want something a bit more stable with a longer turn radius the magic j is a great choice but still does not have a super supportive tail. Sounds like you need more of a playful charger the moment bibby (wildcat) would be a dope option. A couple other skis worth checking out would be the Völkl Shiro and on3p billy goats. Also how big of cliffs are you hitting OP?

Are you after a twin or more a directional ski? Directional like the pinnacle 118, qst 118 or volkl confession will take all the big stuff with ease but will not be so playful.
Twins will I'll never be so stable but skis like the Chet's or cats (atomic k2) still give great stability and aloy of playfulness.
Overalldirectional will I'll always be better for big hucks

I feel like the older Chets would work better since the new ones are like sub 1800 grams
I upgraded to Bibbys from JJs and could not be happier. They feel 95% as playful with the only difference being butters are harder and 100% more stable. They can do everything the JJs did but they will do it faster and inspire more confidence.
If you want a twin tip that can charge harder than about any ski I've ever been on check out the fatypus d-sender... full twin, ton of camber, stiff as a brick and little sidecut... they made it as their big mountain comp ski if that adds some perspective! I'd recommend to anyone, other than that, pinnacle 118 is another one of my favorite chargers

Isn't the mount on the qst like -4?
InB4 K108, although it's the right answer and I love mine
50KalBobby’s would be good. So would Billy goats.
Bibbys. Ducking auto correct.
