I wanna go out west next year for the bday and im tryna figure out when and where to go anyone who lives out there got any ideas??
snowfinderWhat kind of skiing are you looking to do?
Park
waste of a trip to the west but okay, park city or breck/keystone, want to actually go skiing out west and hit park mammoth.
If you want park, alta/snowbird, mid season squaw, Sun valley but don't bother skiing dollar, revelstoke has a huge park, baker is known for their parks too

Can’t tell if serious
Come out west to ski park? Dude you will come out and find yourself wanting to hit everything but the parks. Check the south shore out. Heavenly or Kirkwood. If you are on a budget sierra at tahoe is dope and the place to be.
Mammoth, Squaw, Northstar are my CA mountains I'd recommend.
I'm almost embarrassed to be california grown and still have not rode mammoth. I've skied nor cal my whole life but primarily the tahoe and shasta. Squaw is dope but like other big resorts the lines and chaos of it all can be a huge buzz kill. Places like sugar bowl, sierra at tahoe and donner are way more worth it. That being said if you've never been to squaw go.
