Is it worth it to buy a base layer for skiing -10-20 or is it just a waste of money
base layers are one of the most important layers pieces. They are not just for keeping you warm but wicking moisture when you sweet. They will be so much better to wear then say a tshirt. I love icebreaker layers. I usually use there 260 weight top and bottom most of the year but maybe change to the 200 weight if its hot.

I bought an armada waterwicking base layer with a microbacterial wash. Well worth the money. Tuck this into your pants. I learned this the hard way from landing on my back after a rail or something. This lifted up my jacket and gave me serious snow burn as I was sliding down.
i just rock my boxers. Also ripped my pants so I have a nice breeze on my sac when I ski
