So I live in aspen and it’s starting to get depressingly bad out here. Thinking about flying out to whistler next week for a few days. Is it worth it? What’s the terrain and snow like in whistler right now?
I also live in Aspen. It sucks here right now. 100% would send it to Montana, the PNW, or Whistler for the week if I had the opportunity.
parks are bangin here, snow seems to be on and off

Interesting. Parks here are good too, I’m looking for some big mountain skiing.

Going to whistler would be cheap and I have to be in Squamish anyways. Europe is a whole nother story, I wish I could but I can’t.
Whistler has be been a hit or miss this season. Every other day is horrible, but there have been some amazing days for sure. The base is around 300 cm (120 inches) so we’ve definitely had snow.

When you say hit or miss, is it like powder one day and icey the next? I just want some snow that I can lay an edge into and charge. Aspen has been like bulletproof lately although snowmass was pretty good and soft today. Terrain wise, how is it? Looking for drops and signature BC pillows.
Is anyone getting a decent winter. We’re setting record highs in Tahoe. Was at the beach today and it’s february

I was in jackson a few weeks back and it was great however if I am going to go somewhere it has to be whistler as I have something that needs to be taken care of in Squamish
Whistler has been good according to my trip two weeks ago and the DOPE industries instagram stories.
I skied three days in Whistler, January 25-27. The first day was the best pow day I’ve had in my life and the next two were still solid on the glacier. In those three days it was awesome, idk if I got lucky or if this seasons been consistently good.

In aspen if your willing to hike the snow in highlands bowl has been chalky and soft
Maybe check the weather for Whistler first? That's using the ski resort as the location. Could be great or bad I'm guessing depending on if that rain turns to snow. Could also snow up top and rain at base?

It rains at the base of whistler all the time, the top is 5000ft higher.
