Voelkl freeski

Hi,

I am ex-professional alpine skiing racer. Always loved freeride in powder, for which I have FR skiis.

But I want to also start a bit of Freestyle, mainly jumps (don't really like rails but I sure will try them too) so I am looking for new pair for this occasion. Also if the new pair would be good for all-mountain too, it would be great. I am used to skiing downhill, SL, GS, so too wide middle part (under foot) is just awkward for me. But I understand that I need to get used to it.

But this new skis will be like 80% FS in park and on jumps but I want it to be usable on piste too :)

Also I prefer voelkl (sponsored stores might save me some cash) ;)

So please give me some tips, other brand will help too, I than can find Voelkl alternative.

The Völkl Wall sounds like the ski for you. It's a great ski for hitting jumps and other large features. It is 87mm underfoot which shouldn't be too difficult to adjust to compared to the 90-100mm underfoot skis many people use today. Hope this helps.

Would agree that the Volkl Revolt 87(renamed Volkl Wall) would be the best choice for someone like yourself used to on piste racing skis. Classic Camber with stiff over all flex with softer tip/tails. Still performs well outside of the park and can carve a turn. Had 2 pairs of Volkl Walls myself and I grew up on Volkl carving skis.

Thank you guys! Just watch few videos and reviews of the Revolt and it looks like great skis for me! Will get the pair as soon as possible. Can't wait :) thanks
