broke my upper humerus recently and kinda want some padding up there now. I’ve read about how it’s saved some people from what would’be otherwise ended their season. Only thing is it’s expensive. Any padding that’s worked for you? It doesn’t even have to be upper body
I've heard of some guys wearing motocross padding, but I've personally never seen it myself.
I have something similar to this: https://www.allsportprotection.com/mobile/Product.aspx?ProductCode=66100555
Just look for bodyarmor with soft protection but if it had impact on it it hardens straight up.
Mine has upper chest protection/shoulder (can come out) i dont use shoulder and back protection and its super comfy!
Used to use a poc back protector and forgot it on a ski trip and broke my back, idk if it increases confidence, but I'm like 90% sure I would've been fine had I been wearing it. I don't really wear it anymore cause most gnarly skiing I do these days is backcountry and I always have a pack on and that has built in padding. Something for your back makes falls seem way less gnarly, and I'm sure there's plenty of stuff out there that has upper arm protection. Slytech is getting popular too.

Thank you
what are you skiing through detroit or some native's camp?
I use one of these and I like it. Saved me several times now.
Here is a funky old video.
The only sort of padding I would recommend would be a back protector. If you broke your arm and you aren't in a cast and fully healed/released by your doctor your arm/bone should be as strong if not stronger than before. Its just a mental thing. Its always tough coming back from injuries. Once you get your confidence back you will be fine.
