Markus13USRM must be building it...
At first I was like "Who the fuck is USRM?" and then I lolled
I’m here at the moment, the jumps are big and real close together, no more Sochi flats, rails are smaller then the render made it look. I’ll try and get some shots if I’m that side of the hill today.

Word, please do. Hopefully it turns out well. Schneestern generally turns out a solid product. I'm hoping for some solid creative options on the skate bowl section. I wanna see weird lines and see it rewarded.
Hows your house treating you btw? I could be wrong but didn't you have the "I bought a house at a penny auction" or something like that troll thread like 10 years ago?
Random thoughts on the render:
I've never seen a rainbow to down, that looks fun
Someone greasing the whole s rail with a trick on their run would be the most baller shit ever
I hope the jumps are big and flat
Hahaha yeah that thread was me ;) I sold it all and put it into bitcoin ;)

Not on the hill but took a photo from the base, I’m on the good old korean hurry up and wait gig atm so will get some more when I have a job to do and get on the hill
Screen shot from a buddy of mine working on the course
A few more of the rail section and the whale tail
i hope these jumps are big enough for trips

Holy shit those two features are close together
Jesper will try some fucked shit on those weird rails and I can't wait

I thought that bird was a skier for a sec doing a mad tweaked out safety
Its funny how well I know the course already purely due to the ~billion runs I've done on Shredsauce

Yeah it does look pretty tight. Luckily that first set is a small ish set up dealio.
Here's another pic of the upper rails from facebook.
Looks amazing, thanks for all the pics, unfortunately they're not clickable for me :(

Hmm, same here. Maybe it's cause used the old method? Idk. Let's see if this works.
Edit: Tried a couple different ways, I have no idea.

Will the short distance between jumps affect speed? For Xgames it looked like anyone who hit the side jump couldn't build up enough speed for a triple on the last one

thats just a setup jump for mellower tricks

I know that, my bad for linking the wrong pics but I ment the bigger jumps lower down. They seem really close together. Would that affect speed negatively. Do you need a longer run in?

Oh word I gotcha. I thought you were talking about the one right by the rail.
Idk, I guess time will tell.
I would think they'd have a good plan though. I personally think the course last year looked way better than people made it seem, but there was a lot of negative stuff going around. They def don't want the same problems especially on the world stage.
Schneestern is no stranger to building big events though. I don't want to jinx them but I think they got it.
The lips of the jumps went up over the last few days. One guy guinea pigged and speed won’t be a issue. The big thing with speed is the snow stays super consistent here. We had a handful of days over -0c the whole season. I’ll get some photos of the jumps when I’m back up there.
Lots of photos on the GB Park and Pipe page - course looks pristine.
Good to know I wasn’t the only one who saw that on first glance too haha
VinnieFI thought that bird was a skier for a sec doing a mad tweaked out safety
Course looks unreal, side hits on 2nd last jump look too low though... Correct me if I'm wrong!
I saw a pic of the rails on IG and I was legit staring at it for 2 good minutes thinking how this render looks incredibly real. The shaper crew created a masterpiece, it just looks perfect!

Chris??
It's Mason.. Howdy!
Also currently at the Phoenix Park.
The park is shaping up nicely now. Rails are massive, it looks straight out of a video game. Pure art really.
Halfpipe is still in the finishing touches of shaping, I know it's olympic standard, but the thing is MASSIVE.
Shameless plug, but follow me on IG for updates from the broadcast side of Olympics!!
Also, who's all here??? I wanna meet up with some folks over the next few weeks.
I'm here until the 23rd
It's snowboarderers but there's a follow cam vid here (embed might not work)

Course look amazing - so much room for creativity.
Anyone got any ideas for what the main line will be? Would love to see someone gap the up box to down rail in the second feature

Course is looking prime! I'll be out there from the 17-24.
I never really played the Shredsauce courses of slope courses but I’ve played the x games and olympics courses so fucking much and it definitely made x more fun to watch.
GrandThingsIts funny how well I know the course already purely due to the ~billion runs I've done on Shredsauce
I can't wait to see what Hendrick Harlaut will do, he'll be so nasty on the jumps and rails
Funny insta from monsroisland about the course. I'm not sure if the snowboarders are 100% loving it. A couple of insta stories I've seen indicate that it's difficult af

Maybe it's just the pressure of it all. Honestly thought the sochi course wasn't bad but it was non stop bitching. I think this course is tits, so if people aren't digging it I don't think it's the courses fault.
Hell the test event had some of the same features and everyone was down, I think maybe the olympics is just getting to people.

Yeah it’s me! I’ll be chucking some stuff from the builds and during the event on my instagram also if anyone is interested

Well it’s a good thing that this okympic games are staged somewhere with real snow covering MOST of the ground. #SochiBust
I wonder what the craziest trick we’ll see in the rail section will be, Those jibs look pretty gigantic. We have the potential to see some pretty rad shit go down.
Speed looks pretty tough right now for the boarders. Hopefully when there isn't fresh plus skis itll be faster.
Anybody watching the stream of snerberd qualifiers?
Thoughts on the event and course?
Heat 2 def had some better runs. Curious what lines the skiers through out. Especially getting some time to watch the boarders. Hope some people get some good lines on.
Speed def looked like an issue on jump 1 and 2 although I saw a couple people go pretty deep.
Slopestyle skiers are starting to arrive. Went up the chair with some ever so lovely Swedish ladies today.
Will try and get some videos or pics of the main lines once they start practicing

I watched it and looked pretty ill. Stylish riding all round I'd say. Second jump definitely looked slow today.
