Schmidt's is life
The Ninkasi Pacific Rain is super good. It came out last year but I just started seeing it in stores. Otherwise I stick to trashy Coors light. Blue mountains make me happy
Also I have to give these guys a shout out because they are right by my house and they let me bring my dog with me to go drink.
I am probably not their target audience because I don't get super into what variety of yeast is used and I don't go nuts for anything cask, but what are you gonna do
Deschutes Mirror Pond Pale Ale and Alpine Beer Company Hoppy Birthday

Lol my first beer was a shitty schmidtys
.Hugo.Lol my first beer was a shitty schmidtys
nothing like sharing a wobbly pop with your father
PBR is in my opinion the best hill beer... It somehow tastes twice as good on the chair lift.
On a side note Alaskan Brewery's "Ice Bay IPA" is freaking amazing!
Anyone here like bell's oberon. It’s a beer from Michigan

In life idk. My memory is poor. Didn't drink at all really in nov- dec so haven't found the headiest beer distributors in my area. You live in Northern CA right? Any recs on beers or places?
Thought Alibi was pretty good.
Had a pretty good selection when I lived in CO the last few years. Had at least 100 different beers last year.
Honestly was off the IPA wagon for a few years, but always a big fan of brown ales, then stouts and porters. Also been digging sours pretty heavily but not until the last 3 or 4 years.
When I would leave the area I would load up the car with 2 or 3 hundo worth of beer that I couldn't get where I was living. Actually was pissed when I was in southern Wyoming on the drive to CA this huge beer distributor stopped carrying snake river. Would have looked more but was trying to make up time, and if this place didn't have it, I doubt anything around me did. There zonkers stout was pretty awesome, but I haven't had it in 3 years so basing off old memories.
I'll try anything once. I fucking hate buying something that's horrible though. I try and stay away from things with "cool" names or cans though as I've found those are generally 75% more likely to be shit.
Cool starry bra

That brewery is a great place to see music if you're ever in the area. And they have some good beers. Can't remember If I've had that though. My brain is fucked so who knows

Word I'll check it out. Maybe after my next paycheck so I don't cry as much.
You been out skiin anywhere? Wondering how conditions are. We didn't get much at northstar but wondering if anywhere's worth taking the split out.

2nd for pretty much all the breweries in reno. Get some beer cheese at great basin.
Kirkwood got snow last night to base...rain right now though. Heard the upper mountain is and has been pretty decent considering.
Rose area and Carson pass are probably the best bets for splitting. They have done much better than north lake it seems over the past few storms.
Heard there were some crazy layers at and below treeline....be careful for sure. That's about all I know though as I don't get back till Sunday.

Confused y'alls handles fuck. Lol
Some people from kirkwood were at heavenly on sat and said they had gotten some rain. I don't plan on going out unless it's decent. Know it was ice and rock a lot of places a few weeks ago. Just switched to grave shift so probably going to start going out at the resort in the morning for a hike up the old groomers after work until we get more snow.
If you go out anywhere and it's decent let me know. I'd rather wait than go out if it's shit.

Word. I get back to tahoe on Sunday and might try to get out in the bc that week. I'll let you know!
Being from the PNW I will be so happy when the IPA craze dies and that shit tier soap tasting shit isn't 80% of my local breweries menu.
Upper passes first drop beer is fucking outstanding, if you like ales I highly recommend
I know nothing about beer but just tried these and they’re good
If it ain't steel it ain't real (college kid who's best and cheapest way to get drunk are steel 40s)
I like pil, because it's cheap and I don't think it tastes like piss.
I've also really been enjoying tyskie, I think it's a Polish beer?
I just bought a 48 pack of Kirkland signature light beer for 21 bucks. Fuck all yall
Tried this german stuff last season. Unreal mountain beer.

In my experience, weissbier is underwhelming to say the least.

Nothin compares to a nice busch heavy.
Also if they have it in your area I highly suggest trying Southern Tier Brewing . It’s a small brewery that’s like a half mile from my house. They make amazing IPA’s and stouts. My go to from them is their Citra hopped Live IPA. It’s so good. In the summer they run a limited quantity tangerine double ipa that’s phenomenal.

Yeah certainly not my absolute favourite. But it went down well at the time, prolly more the scenery then the taste.
Was a nice change to the usual carlton draught/ carlton dry.

Diesel. It's Busch diesel you're welcome
When I am planning on getting drunk I always go for the light beer. Somehow Bud Light has become my favorite. If its just a few beers and I want some good flavor hefeweizen always hits the spot

you are wrong
The beer quiver:
Case beers:
Rainer
Rolling rock
PBR
Chillin beers:
Stella
Red Stripe
Anything 10 barrel
Also voodoo rangers and steel head reserves are cool
Ecliptic Orbiter IPA and Laurelwood Workhorse IPA are my favorite Oregon beers

I like the 21st Amendment stuff
Piss-water Ranier and Olympia are my go-tos for cheap easy to drink beer.
my sister made the trek out from Michigan and loaded up our fridge with some killer M-43 Pale Ales from Old Nation Brewing. 6.4% tallboys that are delicious but get you absolutely shitcanned.
_Jeffrey_I like the 21st Amendment stuff
I dig it. Def my go to for what I can get within walking distance of my house. Probably going to be my daily driver this season.
Also I tried the speakeasy I mentioned the other day at a bar, just a sample and it wasn't bad. The ones I bought at safeway were def skunked. I pawned them off on my friends though.
