What is the worst park you have been too
carrettaU men have clearly never skied in the mid Atlantic..... liberty mountain anyone?
ayyyy cmon now man i grew up skiing there and they did alright. haven't been in like 3 years so idk how bad it got with these recent shitty seasons but I was always pretty happy with what they had to offer. people could dub their main jump line it used to be pretty nice
peter0516Hunter In New York can't build a park for shit
They used to have a pretty dope park. Now that theyre peak resorts theyll be making a comeback. A legit dude has been building windham up the last 2 seasons.
So catskills are on the rise.

For the potential liberty has id say its sub par, havnt ridden there in like 5 years but was never impressed then and pictures i have seen since dont make we want to drive there. Also please send me a video of somebody throwing a dub there because as far as im concerned i havnt seen a picture of a good jump there since like 2008.
Shoey-SkiTussey Mountain ParksThat is a 7foot tall wall ride stood up and down, with 2 lips roughly 1 foot each, and almost no landing the plastic on the top is almost unslideable btw
Idk man i think that looks pretty fun assuming the landing aint bad, just gotta ollie some. And knowing the park manager there im sure he was looking for a good ollie.
TOAST.Idk man i think that looks pretty fun assuming the landing aint bad, just gotta ollie some. And knowing the park manager there im sure he was looking for a good ollie.
It would be fun except for the fact that it's 5feet long and had a crap landing, I didnt see anyone hit it including the park crew, John is a cool guy, he just needs to build more sensible stuff
Hyland Hills in MN. used to be known for having a really good park and they have the features to do it, but the park crew the past few years seems to think keeping the same set up for like 3 months is fun. Basically the park sucks ass.
03gadeThe shitty mountain I worked at I'm CT: powder ridge. It was the first year of the reopen after being shutdown for nearly a decade and the new owner essentially found some old rails hanging around and had no qualified park crew so just kind of put them down and made some crappy ride ins.Oh, and then he went and drove the snow cat by himself to make jumps one night and we get to work and it's kickers that were right on the edge of of the landing spots that were formed by mounds in the grass underneath. We had to send some people up to try and dismantle the kickers by hand so noone got hurt. After that fiasco we made a instructor with cat experience our terrain park manager and I left after that season.
Anyone from the ski sundown community reading this: never go to powder ridge.
I'm from CT but usually go to Mount Southington. there park by any means isn't insane but it's better than anything else CT has lmao
Macintyre in Manchester NH is the worst I've personally been too and seen. It's a super small hill so can't expect much but some of the features they use are god awful
mad river mountain in Ohio. i was there in the dead middle of winter and it felt like the park crew didn't give a fuck.
Someone pissed me off on Newschoolers and I swatted him
Krazymtb2Search up buena vista ski area on YouTube they never have a amazing park but it's better then nothing👌
Are you talking about Monarch? Lol they have a park thats like the length of the mountain and sponsored by Never Summer and everything but every time I've been its been like 1 feature every 300 feet
itsJacobWhat is the worst park you have been too
Hyland Hills, Minnesota. They used to have their shit the last decade but this year they decided to fuck up the whole setup. The park crew literally didn't change anything unless the weather decided they had to.
BraydenNemarichSki sundown Connecticut has 1 8"foot down rail and they took down all other features to use the take off snow to cover patches.
Yeah... right now... but it's only temporary after they finish making all of this snow.
Usually it's not that bad although they only had one shitty jump for 1 week this year
ben.allan.7315Are you talking about Monarch? Lol they have a park thats like the length of the mountain and sponsored by Never Summer and everything but every time I've been its been like 1 feature every 300 feet
No different ski hill really small

Yea i heard mad river is awful this year. Usually its the best park in ohio. This year snow trails put in a ton of work and had an amazing setup.
Snow Trails, OH.
I saw someone that said Mad River, mad river is like heaven compared to Snow Trails. Zero management, flat landings, ridiculous lips, flat jumps (if there are any), changed once a year when it becomes so warm they have to take out the features and forced to build it.
Still love snow trails tho home mountains

Problem is the slope used is too flat and most the lips are awkward and you have to skip the entire park to hit the jump sometimes. The setup always looks awesome at first, but when you hit it you realize it's not as good as it seemed and then after skiing the same setup hundreds of times, you hate it.
They setup the features in ways that you can't really learn tricks with low risk, and the beginner park is just too beginner. There's no gap to learn those intermediate tricks.

You just described bmbw perfectly. From what i have seen in past years, mad river has setup features pretty melo. I havent seen much this year, probably because it sucks.

Yeah I literally logged in for the first time in over 3 years just to add that. Bmbw at least had decent looking, keyword looking, jumps. Don't know if you've ever been to snow trails, but have you seen the waterfall? That is the single worst rail I have ever, ever, seen and the way they set it up is just plain stupid. West woods should be a jump line and alpine should be a park all the way from top to bottom. Or vice versa.

I don't understand your logic. I get kids at bmbw who say snow trails has an amazing park, atleast rail wise. We have good jumps but the rails are awful. They don't maintain them in the off season and lay them in the mud so they cover in rust. If you fall on one, its a guaranteed giant rust stain. The waterfall at snow trails looks sick compared to ours. Our sections are like 3 ft long and have a 1.5 foot drop in between them. I haven't seen a skier hit it. BMBW used to be sick but the last 2-3 years have been awful.
JakeBarrettWell brundage doesn't have one anymore, and Tammy is on its way back after being bankrupt. Give it a few more years, tamarack will come back.
Tammy's park won't be coming back anytime soon unless they hire a real prark crew again and fire the chick who's been running it since it reopened.

Damn man. I have never personally been there, the la1 edits tho make it seem alright. It's just Ohio though in reality and the lack of maintenance and variety.

That guy only films when the conditions and park are amazing. Chad nicolson also is high up in park crew so he basically builds these insane transfers for his sponsorship edits. They finally put up a decent park the last 2 weeks
You guys don't have shit on Chicopee. While other local hills responded to jerries getting hurt on big features by introducing a park pass, Chicopee halved the size of the park and moved it to one of the bunny hills. The kickers were placed too far up the hill to give you enough speed to get over the flats, and the only good rail got taken out because jerries kept getting hurt. The park staff tried, but the management fucked them this year.

Our park crew does the same fucking shit, except they don't get sponsored haha.
Its like they build the park for themselves and then hit it a few times a year and leave it.
SconnieYou're on crack if you think granite peak has a bad park. It's top 5 in the Midwest overall, but the jumps are by far the best in the Midwest. Nobody else has a 60-footer.
Maybe a 50 footer on a good year... Midwest 60 footers translate to colorado 40 footers lol.
And with the weather we've gotten this year, and last. It's hard to say any park in the midwest is "good".
Btw, it's meth, not crack ;)

Dude have you never been to chestnut? Chestnut has far better jumps. They aren't all step downs like granite and this time during the year they have some huge jump lines. Not so much this year because of the fucked weather but for the past 4 years they've been ridiculous.
The wrist park I've ever skied was snowy range in laramie Wyoming. Place blows and makes some of the rope rows in the Midwest like 4 lakes look like Vail
rabbit hill really fucked their shit up this year.
murphyboiiiiAnd with the weather we've gotten this year, and last. It's hard to say any park in the midwest is "good".
All you midwest homies have been complaining about the bad weather and I don't know what the hell you are talking about. This has been a really good winter.

It rained all of Christmas week, was 70 out in the middle of February, and is currently 60 out. It's only march 4th and all semi-local ski hills are closed up for the season... If we got any snow, it rained shortly after and was all melted within 2 weeks of falling.
Not trying to be a party pooper here, but if you've been skiing for more than 3 years you'd know that this by no means was a good winter for the midwest.

I dont go to liberty anymore bc of this. Their park is absolute garbage every year. RMR is sick tho

Basically the park sucks ass.Yep. Wasted money on a season pass and a spot on the Nybora ski team there. The park was total garbage and I don't know why the fucking park crew decided to paint everything blue. At least pencil was on a knuckle for some time.

No way liberty had a jump big enough to dub lol
JTTremblesJay peak these past couple seasons
Gotta love the spools

Wisco has done a lot better than anywhere else this winter. We got rain instead of snow the last couple, we haven't had snow stick since around Christmas Break in the Twin cities. Grass patches are showing up on hills now, but its somehow getting cold again this weekend for one last jam session.
oliJhaahhaha literally all their park consists of
Haha and that wierd ass wood diving board stair/walkway thing that I don't even know how to explain.
itsJacobThanks everyone for the feedback!
Stop being a pussy
Hermon mountain in Maine, and yes those are made 100% of wood
