Magnus by far IMO. I liked Henrik's, and Khai's as well.
Am I the only one who finds this impossible to vote on. Everytime they're so good with tricks we've never seen and everyone has their own style. I can never vote.
My top 3 is
1. LJ - I'm just out of words to describe his entry. It litterally makes no sense. The amount of tries some of those shots might've taken him. It's all bangers.
2. Will - He looks at spots in a way nobody else does. There's so many shots that look really really cool. And that C to quad kink...
3. Magnus - At that point it's just that I liked Will's entry better, but I could see finishing 2nd.
As for the other entries,
Khai: I didn't really like his part the first time I watched it, but after rewatching it the only thing that I have to say is that he didn't really have an ender. Other than that it's super solid, would've expected a bit more crazy tech stuff though.
Henrik: He did not disappoint at all. I could definitely see him in the top 3. His last trick is just...
Tom: I hate to say this, but there's nothing that really blew me away. Him too he didn't really have an ender, and I feel like his entry from last year was way better
Tom's was by far the weakest and it was still an unbelievable segment

I definitely felt the same way about Tom's edit. Unfortunately Will's edit didn't blow me away as much as his last years. Don't get me wrong, there were loads of great stuff like the c to quad and the underslide creeper. LJ's and Henrik's entries just combined the tech and creative sides of urban really well. "Agressive" could be the right word to describe their skiing. And that's what I like to see in urban.
Magnus segment was unreal... he's gonna turn me into a bunch fanboy
I find that all the edits this year were insane. Definitely a huge fan of Magnus and LJ's, damn! Magnus brings such a new style to urban and it makes for a really incredible part. Khai's was soooo fast and smooth but was definitely missing an ender. However, wasn't he struggling to find a crew to work with him? Will's was so tech and Henrik's was straight balling like always. However, I feel like because Will and Tom did this last year, their parts weren't as wtf, just because we've seen what they're capable of...
My picks (based on 1 watch, it may change)
1: by far Lj, just on a whole different level don't even know what to say
2: Magnus, usually not a bunch fanboy but he had a ton of tech tricks with insane style, specifically nollie 4 on and wallride qp 270 to rail back swap to sw
3: Henrik, still a tossup between him and Magnus, pretty similar style, cork 7 nose tap to blunt was crazy
My top 3:
1) Magnus. That nollie lip was obscene.
2) Henrik. That was the most dialed, gnarly switch 50-50 I have ever seen
3) LJ. No one shot in particular blew me away, but the collection of so many burly shots got me.
Here is my take on these edits:
I agree with some of the posts above, as sick as they were, Tom's (and even Khai's edit to a lesser extent) was a bit lackluster. Even though they were super technical and big,I felt other edits had much more creative approaches and tricks mixed into them. That being said, they went huge on some of the biggest features,
The TC bois (LJ and Will) epitomize this. They're extremely technical, but manage to mix that in with some crazy features, and ways to approach them that nobody else really thinks of. (Backflip to pillar stall, slide to water ski 180 out?).
Henriks ender was just nutty. The most technical, creative trick, while making it smooth as butter. His edit as a whole is a great mix of everything, and probably stood out the most to me.
Magnus really killed it. He brings that buttery bunch style and creative tech onto all his hits, and makes it look too easy. Loved seeing him hit some burly shit, instead of the usual rock, tree stump and traffic cone. +1 for slav track pants in every shot.
s-handLJ. No one shot in particular blew me away
the first shot didn't blow you away... buddies got some HIGH standards hahaha backie to stall on the pillar was absolutely fucked
TOP 3:
Lj
Henrik
Will
magnus can have the people's choice

lj's backflip again onto that pillar? that shit is fucking insane
i think LJ is gonna take it. Will had some supper creative stuff too.
Best I could count that last dfd lj hit was 14 stairs to 63 stairs lol
Oh My WOW! Can't believe what these guys accomplished in just two months. LJ and Will are insane.
jreillylj's backflip again onto that pillar? that shit is fucking insane
Oh shit i totally forgot about that when making this post. Yeah that shot was absolutely mind blowing.
1st 2nd Magnus and Henrik had the most mind blowing parts for sure. The editing and all mixed created 2 of the greatest urban part. 3rd I would say LJ, because of the gnarly last rail.
Magnus
LJ
Henrik
Magnus was insane, the nollie on the dfd was so fucked up. Next time you're out on your skis see if you can nollie that high, it's almost impossible. The hand drag where he reversed his momentum was stupid sick and the ender too.
LJ was burly, tech and fucked up. Underslide switch up to front two was nutty, front three up was absurd lj tech we all know and love, and there were burly rails littered throughout.
Henriks segment was sick. The ender was all sorts of sick and he had some crazy tech with impeccable style.
Will close behind in fourth for the underslide 50/50 creeper thing and the rest of the edits could be standouts in movies.
Couple thoughts:
First watch through all 6, and my gut feeling was Magnus and Henrik were 1-2, maybe in that order, maybe with Henrik getting the win for arguably more dynamic tricks (linking 2 rails into the same line, spinning a bit more aggressively, that fucking ender).
Then I thought Will just edged LJ for 3rd.
Tom's I just didn't care for, but I am biased in that I don't dig the Good Company aesthetic. I don't know, it was like the beat never dropped. Ho hum.
Khai's first line was tight I thought, and I walked away being like damn, well that was sweet but it's gonna get left behind by the top 4. That's no discredit to Khai, ya mans can fucking ski. Fast and low looks good.
Second watch through confirmed my top 2 and I think left LJ ahead of Will, although like fuck, one foot thunk-thunk rail was tight, and the opener for that matter.
I think Magnus takes it. Imo the format of this comp eliminated the aesthetic stuff that is liable to turn people off from the Bunch style. Less lifestyle just leaves you with distilled slaying. That first blunt stall was fucked up, and the ender made me snap my fingers.
This is by far the hardest year to judge far and away. It's said every year, but truly this is next level type of street skiing.
For me it has to go as follows:
1) LJ. the first trick should be a winner in and of itself. Attempting that must have been literal death. Every shot was a banger. Mix in creative features with LJ tech and that's a gold medal video no question
2) Henrik. Henrik was a fantastic combination of smooth and tech, all while going large shot by shot. Maybe only 1, 2 at the max throwaway shots in retrospect but it was next level some of the shots he produced.
3/4) Has to be a toss up between Tom, and Magnus. Magnus flowed and put in a unique style that only a handful of skiers could reproduce, Henrik included. Only thing that limited him was not going as large as Henrik CONSISTENTLY. Tom was going big throughout most of the shots but I can't put my finger on it. Maybe not as crazy tech as Henrik or LJ? If he threw in a couple of harder tricks while hitting those same features he would have taken out Henrik IMO and been competing for 1st.
5) Will is an animal. 30 years old and still charging like this is medal worthy itself. Same with Tom. In comparison, I just thought Will's tech and creativeness weren't as big as Henrik's or certainly LJ's. Magnus was more unique with the style aspect, and recreating the tricks he does is so damn hard, and Tom just went larger with higher risk features. All came down to who was going the biggest this year. I also enjoyed the vibe of Will's video the best.
6) Khai. Insane that I'm ranking Khai here, especially in his field of expertise in skiing. If Khai took more of the Cam Riley / Clayton Vila approach and put in more shots like his enders while going even more tech he would have placed for sure.
I can't fathom how the judges put medals on these this year. Must have been the hardest thing to judge all year. Props to everyone for putting out unreal segments.
I don't even understand why this is an argument. LJ's was probably the most insane ski edit i've ever seen.
1st LJ by a mile. I watched that multiple times and it blew my mind every time.
2nd Henrik with the perfect combination of style, tech, and creativity
3rd Magnus or Will... It could honestly go either way but something tells me the bunch fanboys will be out in full force voting for Magnus.

I think this is the closest to what I saw as well. Although after watching them a couple more times I think I'm going with
1. LJ (next level)
2. Henrik (so big, styley and technical all in one)
3. Will (the tech in this one was next level, didn't quite go as big as the first two though)
4. Tom (stuff was huge and so much style, but maybe not quite the same level of mind blowing stuff we expect from Tom, maybe hindered by our expectations of the best skier in the world)
5. Magnus (really cool edit that was incredible and next level, I think just the size of the hits and not going quite as huge as some of the other entries moved him down for me personally)
6. Khai (mind-blowingly good street edit, just goes to show how crazy this competition was, just not quite enough to really stick out and separate himself from everyone else)
Ending it off by saying all 6 of these were absolutely next level edits and not one single guy is really last or should be considered that because they were all sooooo goood.
henriks edit did not impress me i dont know it was sick but just remember one shoot the nose press 360 on the wall.
Lj will take the win.
Amazing edits from everyone, it's so hard to pick a winner :O I loved Henrik's unique style and tech tricks, especially that ender. LJ's was just insane... so was Magnus's. For me it's between Henrik and LJ and Henrik gets my vote for the great style and creativity.
I gotta say LJ takes the win. Every shot was nuts with standouts like the sw tail transfer to front 2, backflip onto concrete pillar, and super long rail ender... and multiple elbow kink, and lincoln rail transfer... and backslide continuing 2... and triple up rail gap to back 2 out... and 3 swap continuing 2 on a drop rail.. and 2 pretz 4 on closeout.. and huge lip 2 disaster... and hell everything
My top 3 are
1. Henrik: fucking insane tricks with mad style and that ender.
2 . Magnus: style......
3. Lj: tech as shit, like that backflip onto the pillar WTF?!

.
i think LJ will win because its obvious how gnarly the shit he did is- i mean backflip to concrete post wtf?!
BUT
From a more experienced park rats perspective magnus' tricks are next level- pushin bondaries aswell as gnarly- wile they may not appear as gnar as ljs- we know that a nollie on to a dfd like that is so fucked- id almost argue more fucked than ljs backy onto the post
that why magnus got my vote
LJ hands down. If you say otherwise youre a fucking moron
wish magnus still had his style from superunknown. that arm flailing shit was all i could focus on in his edit
My list is as follows
1) LJ
After the first shot you knew he was going to have a heavy part. Every single shot he had was all bangers. For me tho my favourite shot of him was the front 3 swap on the high urban flat to flat rail.
2) Magnus
Magnus is a very creative skier and looks at spots in a way that no one else does. His nollie lip to a rail that had basically no kicker was mindblowing. His part overall was very distinct and that's why I am ranking him second over Henrik (Both entries were almost tied).
3) Henrik
Henrik in my opinion had the most flow and style out of all the riders and his opening shot was insane. The cork 7 nosetap to blunt was sick. Overall his entry just had a unique flow that none of the other riders could match.
4) Will
5)Khai
6) Tom
fuck. judging. this.
Boys went so in on this I don't really know what to say other than "thank you"
it's so hard to compare them because four of them are doing stuff no one else can and pushing it so hard in different directions.
Magnus- finds totally new ways to ride into features and manipulate his skis
Henrik- takes that early 2000's heavy snowboard/skateboard influenced style and takes it to a whole new level
Will- looks at stuff that you wouldn't ever think of being able to ski, and hitting it
LJ- looks at stuff you think is too crazy to ever ski, and hitting it
1) Magnus
2) LJ
3) Henrik
4) Will
5) Khai
6) Tom
All. Bangers.
The only answer here is that they have After Effects cheat codes because I refuse to believe anyone is able to do what I just watched.
Magnus and LJ's parts were my top 2, left me saying what the fuck am I watching right now and Hennie is the steeziest mf on the planet. Sucks that Tom and Khai's parts are getting left behind, those were sick too but everyone else just went dumb in those edits.
Henrik should win, far better than the others in my opinion
My favourite part is Henrik's, it seemed like every other part was 10/10 in one aspect and his was 8/10 in every aspect.
Really liked Khai's part, you gotta look close to see what makes his tricks special.....and he makes 'em look too easy.
With Tom's part, maybe they held back on clips or didn't put too much into it.....I mean, Good Company is selling their work to TV networks. It's kinda rude for ESPN to "invite" Tom & Kyle to give it up for free :/
Who else is flying to Dubai after watching all that?
The hand drag pretzel that Magnus did though... my god. I'm so into the shots without any jump building required too. Makes it seem like skiers are actually just riding the streets. LJ I think will place and win fan favorite though as he should. I'm hoping Magnus for gold cause he's too out there for fan fave
1/2 Henrick/LJ
I voted for Edollo day 1, prolly LJ tomorrow
3rd Magnus
tied for 4th Tom/Khai/Will (almost sounds like my favorite Thai soup)
Magnus nollie over into the dfd had our jaws dropped.
Really liked Magnus edit but LJ takes the cake for sure. That front 3 on the play structure :o
I got
1. LJ
2.Henrik
3.magnus
4.khai
5.tom
6.will
Will is my favorite skier by far so I watched his first with a high expectation. He stacked some solid clips, but nothing to blow me away. Then I watched henrik and his last nosebutter 270 on thing was insane! But then I watched Lj thinking nothin could top henrik but as soon as I saw the backie to stall and the blind swap on that inside of the elbow double rail thing I knew from then on that he is winning. Magnus came in heavy with the bunch style so I threw him in 3rd. And as for tom he had some technical tricks but nothing to blow me away like lj. Still a solid edit tho. And khais style is sweet but just couldn't top the weight of the clips henrik and lj dropped.
Khai's filmer really enjoys putting random shit in the foreframe. I kinda dig it tho
I think Tom's style made his shit look too easy. There are some gnarly features in their that he handles with crazy amounts of grace and style.
Magnus and LJ stand out to me.
