I broke my collar bone about a week ago. The pain and not moving my arm kinda sucks but what is really getting to me is that i cant ski. Here in CT the seasons are so short and my hill just started ti get its shit together and get a decent jump line going and it just makes me depressed that i cant get out there. Anybody know something to take my mind off it.
Yea I got hit with that pretty bad after tearing my ACL and MCL a couple seasons ago. Like 8 weeks of laying around - grabbed my dad's iPad and just watched the twitch/tv app the entire time. Daytime tv sucks so watching funny people / really good players play video games became appealing pretty fast
Get into a dope competitive video game like Counter-Strike. If you rather be productive I highly recommend getting into graphic design or music production/making beats. Been producing music for 8 years now, when I'm not skiing I'm probably making beats. Loads of fun once you get the basics.
broke my collar bone 2 weeks ago also. 6 weeks out, 4 more to go.
Heal up dude

What software And shit do you use/recommend? Been thinking about making music like that for a long while just don't know a good starting point
Ha I was on crutches for 7 months, and just started walking, you will be fine. Suck it up, read a book, learn something new, challenge your mind.

I started out with out with FL Studio and used that for a super long time. But up until last year I switched to Ableton Live simply because I liked the workflow better. I personally would recommend FL Studio though if you are just starting out. Super easy to start learning and really nice user interface.
Just tore my ACL totally get how your feeling it's soooo hard to just sit around 24 days till surgery :P.... I work at the ski hill so I watch all my friends just shred it up and they are getting better almost feels like your being left behind. Ive just been watching edits looking for new ideas to bring into the next season when I can get back at it! Totally stir crazy for skiing right now though!
I broke both wrists last year which sucked. I only felt the depression for the first 3-5 days. I just focused on school and it ended up being all good after a week.
