so lets start, so say you want to learn backflips, corks, linken loops and rodeos how do you build up the skills and courage to do biger like the ones named.
Practice in tramps and airbags if there are any around you, wait for a nice soft spring day and just huck, get your friends to record you or give you some kind of incentive so you don't chicken out, a lot of skiing is the mental aspect
when its slushy or high 30 and 40s you better be out there fuckin sending it-- those slushy days are you best shot to progress
you can fall on you back and it will feel like jumping into a tempurpudic bed
thats how i learned / got a feel for most of my rotations- wait till its hella slushy and just send it- good chance you might land on your side but it wont hurt

yes ^ and to follow up, I think its also important to try shit even if its not the best conditions because the ski season is too short to waste the mediocre days too. I dont really do jump tricks much but I still learn smaller shit on those OK days and even the sheet ice days so I dont feel like im wasting my snow time.
tell ur friends u can do the trick, that way if u don't do it they will call u a loser
It depends who you ski with skiing with a bunch of squalls sucks
When I'm trying new tricks there are a couple things that help a ton to get me to throw shit. First of all practicing on the trampoline helps a lot. Trampoline and skis feel completely different but it just helps you get an idea and builds your confidence. After you do that, just use and abuse those days when the snow is nice soft. Imagine yourself doing it and then just go and do the trick without thinking into it too much. Another big thing is get a friend or a group of friends that can hype you up and try shit with you.
Do the tricks on tramp effortlessly or at a pool, try them on an airbag, try them in pow, ask someone who can already do the trick to follow him doing it, get it recorded so that at least you won't die for nothing, warm up, just ride around a good bit before, get used to the jump, ride it a dozen times and do the easy tricks you can do, listen to music before going, watch edits to pump you up, ask tanner to tell you that you know what you gotta do and to do it for the history books, fist bumps your friends before you go, scream on the way down like leo taillefer (that can look awkward tho, but it helps you to keep being pumped up), think about the rotation as a whole and not only how you have to throw your shoulder, get a good pop, grab, spot your landing, and you're good. Just choose whatever works with you, but the most important part is being at ease with the rotation and the jump, because the bigger the jump the easier, but also the scarier it will be.
Crush six or seven beers on the lift and just huck it

I find shots work better
Pick your substance; caffine, booze, lettuce, music, etc or any combo

I would say start with spelling the desired trick right.
