I've been looking for a new set of skis for a while and I've narrowed it down to two skis, the Kartel 108's (ON3P) and The Metal's (J Skis). I'm having trouble figuring out which ski will work best as a daily driver in the PNW while being able to carve well, rip through crud, and maintain a poppy, energetic feel. Also I am 6'1" and 190lbs. I would greatly appreciate some insight on what would work best for me! Thanks!
Those are 2 pretty good bets. Hopefully people with experience on them chime in, but for now I'd check these reviews out:

Honestly, I think you would be stoked on either in a 186. I only have experience on the Kartel 106 (just a slightly skinnier version of the current K108), and I really liked them for all mountain shredding or for when there isn't a whole lot of lighter powder.

i've been using them everyday this season and they are awesome. i thought they would be harder to ski but they're playful for the size, i even mess around in the park with them. im now around 205 and 6'3" and i cant imagine a better ski that could go so fast in so many conditions. icey conditions and gnarly moguls are definitely more work than a smaller ski but its still possible. just drive the tips and dont get backseat or else they will punish you. my previous ski (rossi sin 7 180's) feel like a toy compared to the BG. theyre probably a bit much for a daily driver but i think theyre sweet
186 kartel 108. Im ~6 feet 155 and ride the 181 kartel 106 and 116. They do everything you just described really, really well
