So i spin left naturally but for some reason look over my right shoulder while riding switch is so much more natural to me. I also slide rails left foot first. Ive tried to practice riding switch looking of my left shoulder but no matter how much i try it, it feels awkward and unnatural. I am really just debating on saying fuck it and just learning switch tricks spinning to the right. Any thought?
Spend as much time as you can facing over the left shoulder. I ski switch over my right shoulder, slide rails right foot forward but i spin left so thats gonna suck for me. But it will always feel awkward just work on it and itll get more and more comfortable

same. i need to work on this too
Fuck it, be different and just send everything blender.
Seems like most people who spin left ski sw right naturally, and vice versa. I had this problem too. Its a good chance to learn both sw 5s though. Also ive seen people who huck sw blender dubs and sw pizza to slow down because they havent learnt sw both ways. Seems like a scary idea.
Jesper has a dope one in this insta, personally I think they look awesome
Don't know what skiers, call it but rollerbladers call it a illusion spin

Same same, frustrating but whatever I guess...
