I'm thinking of getting the on3p Kartel 108 for this season I would mainly use it at resorts and off piste. I was wondering if I could mount non tech touring bindings (it's been a while I forget what they are called) on them and use them just for day tours? Would this be okay i have toured on the volkl one before and it was okay but a tiny bit heavy but was overall fine. Where should I mount them aswell? And just would this be a good idea.
You'll be fine with whatever binding you put on there, touring or not. Your stack height will be a little higher but I doubt you'll notice the difference. Mount them on the line.
Yeah so you want to mount some frame bindings on them? (Salamon Gaurdian or Tyrolia Adrenalin)
You'd be fine doing that. It would be a good little setup. I'd recommend mounting them on the recommend line. You could get away with going a cm or 2 ahead though.

Yeah AT frame bindings, if I was to mount them with regular bindings where would I mount them? Do you think they would still ski fine at like 1cm ahead recommended but not centre mount?? Thanks guys, I miss NS I used to come on everyday but lost that account then made this oen and never got back into it.

Yeah they'd be good there. My Kartel 106s are a little bit ahead of recommended too. I think for my size recommended is like -3.5cm from center and I'm at -2cm from center
I just bought the Kartel 108's and am having them mounted -2.5 from center. I believe that -5 is recommended.
Mount mark off true center is size dependent - 181's will be a different distance than 171's for instance. Ask Info@On3pskis.com or just trust in the recommended :)

Well than on this basis then what size would you recommend for me? I'm definitely deciding between 181 and 186 I'm 5'10 and about 140 pounds but I'm still growing as I'm only 16. I would want to keep the skis for a few years obviously because they are somewhat expensive and I can't afford new stuff all the time.

Also i would be probably spinning and flipping with these but not in the park, just saying cause this will effect where i mount.

Just mount at like -2.5 from center if you don't want to be on recommended. Thats where mine are mounted and where Karl has his mounted.
