November 8th. Who gets your vote? I would also like a "why" as to who you're voting for, but I understand that you may not even want to share this information. DON'T KEEP IT CIVIL, SPEAK YOUR MIND
I am not voting for Clinton, I am voting against Trump by voting for Clinton.
"I love guns and hate abortions but I don't vote republican"
Reluctantly voting for Johnson unless Trump gets replaced
Also if you vote for Clinton you're an imperialist, authoritarian, Keynesian, scumbag.
Josh__PeckAlso if you vote for Clinton you're an imperialist, authoritarian, Keynesian, scumbag.
I mean, Keynesian is better than Austrian...Austrian's don't believe in empirical evidence.
Oh and OP, You're forgetting Evan Macmullin. Polling pretty damn well in Utah.
I voted for Trump. I will NOT for Clinton, and if anyone asks why then they are a bigger cunt, liar, fuck face than she is.
Josh__PeckReluctantly voting for Johnson unless Trump gets replaced
hey do you know what Aleppo is?
McNocheI voted for Trump. I will NOT for Clinton, and if anyone asks why then they are a bigger cunt, liar, fuck face than she is.
damn me and eheath and the rest of ns is right- you really are not to bright are you bud
.otto.damn me and eheath and the rest of ns is right- you really are not to bright are you bud
You should probably work on your own intelligence before you insult someone elses
Not voting for trump, I live in a red state, so it doesn't really matter. I think Evan Mullins is gonna win in utah because he's mormon and republican, mormons are too smart to vote for trump but would never vote democrat.
More importantly than voting for president, vote down the ballot. If you're a republican, vote for your reps, because trump isn't getting elected and the only way you'll have your ideas represented is voting for your reps. At heart i'm a moderate republican, I share many opinions between the left and right, but in today's politics i'm a democrat and that's how I tend to vote too because IMO most republicans are very swayed by religion and ideals from the past, hopefully one day republicans can make a U-turn and stop being so god damn conservative.
.MASSHOLE.Oh and OP, You're forgetting Evan Macmullin. Polling pretty damn well in Utah.
Thanks man, added him to the poll
.otto.damn me and eheath and the rest of ns is right- you really are not to bright are you bud
Listen to Hugo, then try to form your sentences a little bit better
if I were american I would scratch my ballot.
300 million and this is the cream of the crop? you guys have bigger problems than picking a leader...
howlongcanausernobama
Was gonna put him as an option on the poll, except I know there are truly people who are naive enough to vote for him again
Josh__PeckAlso if you vote for Clinton you're an imperialist, authoritarian, Keynesian, scumbag.
I find it so cute when fresh 19 somethings throw around buzz words. First things first, imperialist.. Did you not hear about Trump saying he would bomb the shit out of ISIS and allow BP and other to drill for oil. Not bomb the shit out of ISIS because ISIS is bad, but because we need oil. Sounds pretty imperial to me.
Authoritarian? Trump is the most authoritarian candidate.
Keynesian? I see alot of this x economic theory is better than Y. No one economic theory is better, there's some better for certain situations. Like the GFC, the Australian government invested heavily in infrastructure and other stimulus packages, to help stimulate the economy. And we only had one quarter of negative economic growth. Keynesian theory worked, but now that we're not in a global shitstorm, we need to look at other ways to kickstart the economy, and keynesian wouldn't be the best option.
You really don't know much do you?
.MASSHOLE.I mean, Keynesian is better than Austrian...Austrian's don't believe in empirical evidence.
Was there ever a Keynesian economic scheme in history that did not fail?
GORILLAWALLACEif I were american I would scratch my ballot.300 million and this is the cream of the crop? you guys have bigger problems than picking a leader...
I mean, as appealing as this sounds, scratching your ballot is just making it worse. A HUGE problem in the USA is voter turnout, especially if you've seen any of those viral videos about who voted in caucus/primaries. If people just went out and voted for their representatives, then voted in the election, shit would actually happen the way it should in this country and people would complain a lot less. I mean holy shit they will mail you a ballot, then you fill it out and put it back in your mail box and BOOM you've voted. Its so god damn easy and encouraging people to not vote is so fucked.

I don't know if it's different in the states, but in school they told us that it's better to scratch your ballot than to just not show up because it sends a message that the options are shit and the government is doing a bad job.

Whoever taught you that is a fucking idiot. Our government is decently corrupt, some may say more that others, but just not voting and hoping our government will fix anything is absolutely delusional.
.otto.damn me and eheath and the rest of ns is right- you really are not to bright are you bud
That was the best you could do? Buddy, you need to work on your grammar, and english writing skills before going after someones intelligence.
.otto.hey do you know what Aleppo is?
Gotta love when the news gives somebody shit for coverage, then blast them all over with something bad because they're polling well.
And best, everyone sucked that down harder than a big old johnson. Fuck elections honestly.
Gods_FatherWas there ever a Keynesian economic scheme in history that did not fail?
Depends on your view of the New Deal
S.J.WDid you not hear about Trump saying he would bomb the shit out of ISIS and allow BP and other to drill for oil.
I didn't. Do you have a source? I mean, of course I've heard the first part. We all have. But allowing BP to drill for oil? Never heard that. How would we even have that jurisdiction? Allow an English company to drill for oil in a place that is closer than them than us? I don't get it.
I will be voting for local candidates that I support, for one proposal and against another
When it comes to the presidential election, I tend to vote on the Republican side but am leaving it blank this time around for reasons I don't feel like delving into
The worst part about the US election this year is that one of them is going to "win"...
clinton is fucked in the head vote against her

okay maybe not BP exactly. That's just an oil company I know.

Not only is Trumps plan incredibly imperialist, it's also kinda dumb
Why wait until November 8th? I already filled out my entire ballot. Planing to turn it in tonight.
The referenced post has been removed.
ooo edgy

Darn. I was hoping it was BP. I own some stock in them. lol
if you dont vote just because you dont like the candidates you're a retard who doesnt deserve the right to vote.

What, 4 shares?? So this "major" breaking news would have made you $1.75 in your fun little Scottrade account that has an account balance of $800. Watch out ns, we got the next wolf of walls street over here.
milk_manThanks man, added him to the pollListen to Hugo, then try to form your sentences a little bit better
its a sad day when people stand up for Mcnoche. Since when has ns been about forming complete sentences?
Anybody who votes for Trump is a fucking retard. I say that with love.
.otto.its a sad day when people stand up for Mcnoche. Since when has ns been about forming complete sentences?
Its not. But if youre going to call someone stupid you should probably know how to grammar
.otto.its a sad day when people stand up for Mcnoche. Since when has ns been about forming complete sentences?
Didn't have the sack to @ me...pussy
Just read that in the post debate twitter war 1 out of 5 pro Clinton tweets were from bots and nearly 1 in 3 pro Trump tweets were bots. Also the majority of Americans on twitter can't tell the difference between a real person and a bot. So basically most people are fucking idiots that can't recognize their own political interests and vote accordingly. Good times.

Do you even have a Roth?
milk_manDo you even have a Roth?
Do your funds need hedging?
I'm debating between my seething hate for Trump and my desire to make sure he doesn't get in office and my desire to vote for whom I think is the best candidate.
It's a difficult decision and I feel fucked either way.

80% of votes cast in the election don't matter. If I remember my stats correctly. So vote for a third party, tell the establishment that you're not going to take their shit anymore.
My obligatory "Why the fuck do we still have the electoral college" post for 2016.
It's fucking ridiculous to not have a popular vote.
"Every vote counts" lolz
Do people actually worry about the electors voting against the people? Faithless electors are extremely rare
milk_manDo people actually worry about the electors voting against the people? Faithless electors are extremely rare
No but if your state goes for a candidate by 30 votes or 3 million votes it makes no
difference. So that's kind of demoralizing if you aren't in a swing state. In Washington the governor's races have been down to the wire the last few times but a lot of republicans in the West could pass for Democrats in the Midwest or in the South so the presidential vote always goes blue.
milk_manDo people actually worry about the electors voting against the people? Faithless electors are extremely rare
extremely rare, but it has happened three times in the past 100 years or something, where the candidate with the majority hasn't won. A person in Wyoming has 1 electoral vote for every 135k votes. California has 1 electoral vote for every 411k voters. Does that sound like democracy to you? And this wouldn't be a problem if you had a representative democracy, where you elect a person from your local area to represent you, and whichever party wins the most seats wins the government. You elect a single person. And this is a huge problem, every vote should be equal. But it's not. Do you not see the problem there?
Gods_FatherWas there ever a Keynesian economic scheme in history that did not fail?
Scheme? Never once heard that used in relation to economics.
But literally both world wars the US prospered. More so ww2 because of direct stimulus to the economy by the government. Conservatives love to diss Keynesian theory but forget their beloved army is partly Keynesian by having the government directly invest in the economy. I'm still yet to see a conservative who loves the military and hates Keynesian economic theory dispute this point.

What is more amusing is seeing people diss Keynesian Economics when they only see those words and outcomes, not the underlying political actions that often distort the models.
FDR used Keynesian economics during his tenure, I don't think anyone would disagree that his time as president was rather prosperous once he stopped trying to balance the budget AND use a Keynesian Economic policy.
But hey, it is cool to hate on economics so let's do it!
