Hey guys. I've noticed test full tilts are really popular on newschoolers and I was wondering why. What makes them so special or better them other ski boots?
They have been specifically marketed heavily to the Newschoolers crowd. That is why they are popular.

But are they any good is the question

any boot that fits your foot correctly is "good". You know what they say: "the best boot is the one that fits your foot"

although this is true many boots can be made to fit well by a good boot fitter. I actually did enjoy full tilts in the park. The flex is different to an overlap boot and once you adapt, assuming you have skied overlap before, it is easy to see why it is popular with park riders. It does feel more natural I would say. Out of the park ill stick to overlap but i do think there is something to be said for 3 piece in the park.
I had the worst shin bang of my life in February last year because I had some bad race boots but I got a pair of full tilts and my shins immediately stopped hurting. They minimize shin bang, easy to take on and off, and I think they look pretty sick
